I was trying to find out the same thing, so I've emailed SVP about it and will post as soon as I get a reply.

Looking on AVForums there is a thread asking about HDMI DVD players that can play DivX/Xdiv through the USB port

http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=545065&highlight=SumVision+Phoenix

and this was suggested as a player that could do this (post 11)

EDIT

SVP have replied and it DOES support DivX/Xdiv through the USB.
