Ok, I've just checked and cheapest delivery seems to be £4.79 (within 5 working days).

I will amend title to show this.

Also, if you go to the link, there are a number of reviews...

I bought one of these when they were £28ish delivered from Scan and to be brutally honest, in my opinion, it sucks.

If I was in the market again for a Divx player I would pay a bit more and get something decent.

Hi VDisillusioned, thanks for the feedback :).

I went to the eBuyer site and it had 61 reviews and many people gave it glowing reviews, with a total average of 4½ stars out of 5, so thought it might be worth posting.

I have just found that this was pisted 6 weeks ago for roughly the same price however, so feel free to delete, move or ignore!

Is that from too much skiing?

I think that may say a more about Ebuyer feedback than the quality of the player ;-)

Before I bought mine I read lot's of remarkably glowing reviews of the player but I had lot's of problems with mine. Since then I have read quite a few reports of other peoples problems. Mine is kicking around unplugged somewhere

This looks quite a good price. I got a very small cheapo DVD player a few years ago when I was staying in hotels around the country a lot. I would just plug it into the hotel TV and it saved a fortune.

This pops up on Scan from time to time in Today Only deals.
Usually under £30
If you're not desperate for it, and can get free delivery, then better to wait for it to appear.

I also have this, it's cr*p. Not voted

The dvd drive broke on mine after a month, I only use it for the USB now and rarely. Also not voted.

Don't buy this for a plasma TV! I did and the pause button is so bright it causes screen burn! Honestly the worst designed feature in the world. Every time we paused a film we had to also turn the tv off!! There was an option to turn the brigtness down but all it did was turn the brightness of everything down - including the film!!

Simply awful!! I have now spend a bit more on a decent system and have noticed a clear difference in quality of the unit and the picture. Unfortunately this is a false economy product!!

I use one of these for the usb playback and occasionally for dvd and the only problems i've had have been that it can't seem to follow some menu limks on dvds, you pick one movie to watch and get a differnt clip from a different extras menu.

I paid around 30 quid of amazon as a stop gap between machines and have had my monies worth to be honest but I would baulk at pying over £40 for it.

I have my movies on a 1TB HDD formatted in NTFS, so will I be able to play the .avi movies using this or is there better? It will be hooked up via a standard scart cable to a CRT tv.
