Pros: incredibly cheap.

Cons: stuck on a resort surrounded by Sun readers.

Hopefully just surrounded by lots of people who bought the Sun just to get the holiday. Although...I don't want to be seen buying the Sun. It's even worse when I can get the Times for 40p weekdays, people will judge! Hehe I'll need to go in disguise :)

Edited to add: Problem solved - I'll just get my partner to buy it. Erm, how to broach the subject...

Why are you even on this site? You have been a member for nearly two years and have contributed nothing but the odd silly remarks about deal you are not interested in.

the people complaining about the sun are the same chavs rushing down to poundland in their fake designer tracksuits to buy ketchup for a quid

very sad people

You sound fun, attractive, & interesting. I love you.

For anyone else with chronic sense of humour failure: I've friends & family who've had very mixed experiences with Sun deals.

Can't stop... off down Poundland in my best tracksuit for some ketchup. ;-)

I take it the bad experiences your friend and family have had with Sun holidays have been when you've came along. xx

Just got my booking form. We've been to Parkdean Newquay, Hendra Newquay and Parkdean Torquay in the past. Always had a great time.

We did Ireland last year - wasnt the best site but made the best of it and it allowed us to see family and friends. Looking for a summer holiday for this year. Anyone recommend a god site at all?

We've been to Butlins Skegness a couple of times and Haven Primrose Valley most recently. Fantastic value especially for the larger parks and school holidays. Will be trying for school holidays again this year.

I love these holidays, I have never bought The sun, I just get the codes off here and book. I got my letter today and noticed they have more choice of £38 holidays where you don't pay for the passes & service charge than they have had before, which is great. Also people don't forget the June half term, has a Monday & Tuesday bank holiday during it, so less time needed off work.

Received my priority form today as well. These are perfect cheap holidays for people like us with young children. A holiday is what you make of it, i always check trip advisor for reviews of the parks before we go and take the comments about cleanliness with a pinch of salt. Over the past 3 years we have done 2 Havens, 2 Park holidays and a Hoburne all around the south and have enjoyed all of them. Is it really the end of the word if you have to spend 10 mins at the begining of your break cleaning your caravan? For the price who can complain. And as for the clientele at these breaks i largely find it to be young families/ couples with small children, not large groups of chavs, whether this changes at the weekends i dont know because we always go on the midweek breaks. I'm eyeing up Ladram Bay in Devon this year. Has anyone ever been there?
