Sun Holidays are back but for the summer holidays and still £9.50 pp based on 4 sharing, tokens start in this Saturdays paper. Save an absolute fortune compared to Haven prices. I have been to Primrose Valley their Flagship Park for the last 15 years and would never go to any other park now.

I believe 'Devon Cliffs' is their flagship park
#2
This is for this and next month? That would be superb as I'm all out of cash, but would like some action in my holiday other than watching TV at home.
#3
when does this start?
#4
brilliant

Still trying to find the article in the link.

Got a bit waylaid along the way with some of the stories like this for example.:)

Primrose Valley & Devon Cliffs are the flagship parks , both very good, gets very busy ok if you dont mind kids all over the palce

Beware tho its often cheaper or not very much more booking direct than going through The Sun, check prices beforehand
#7
i know im probably being thick but what is a flagship park, ive been thinking about booking primrose valley as a change from presthaven sands in wales :)
#8
Just means its there top parks and have millions of pounds spent on them recently :)
#9
ahhh, thanks

We love the SUN holidays, have been to various UK parks and also to France twice ( and booked again for oct half term!)

we can only go during school holidays,so we always make a good saving ( £300 one time !!)

BUT always recommend looking to see how much it would be to book direct ,as often it's cheaper than the SUN ,esp if out of season / during school term time
#11
was at devon cliffs last year , we battered a few english upstarts
quite good
but if you want the best of devon go south

Good deal will try and take a look at this

Fab! We need an October break - so I shall keep my fingers crossed - last time we were unable to get any in the area we wanted to go!

If anyone wants to know what to do in Exmouth (Sandy Bay Park) or that part of Devon send me a message and will be glad to give you a list of things to do!

Good point above that after you have added service charges and entertainment passes it is cheaper to wait until the last moment to book.

Went to seat sands scotland , isle of wight and hemsby this year and all were great as a base so we did not need the entertainment passes.
At seaton sands we took an extra friend and thought we would pay the difference when we got there but the said no problem and sent someone round to make up another bed as we upgraded to3 bedroom superior, also we could have stayed another week in the 3 bed superior for £100 for 5 people, so look at their offers board when you get there.

edit.
Just recieved a priority order form and it says you can book for sept - oct - nov and april 2010. usual places to stay including spain, france , italy ,holland and germany.

You will get a basic caravan, we went on a Sun hols earlier in the year at Primrose, when we walked in there was holes in the walls, wallpaper torn and a toilet seat in the sink !

We did complain and got put in a top of the range caravan onthe seafront with central heating so was a bonus !

All the Sun holidays are in the lowest grade accomadition unless you upgrade, you may get lucky and get a better caravan if the place isnt fully booked

we have been with sun holidays to hopton, withernsea and off to southport in aug. we have always had a great time and have oftern saved money, but i agree with checking sites direct especially for out of season dates, and don;t forget to look for deals with free entertainment passes to make them even better value ! happy holidays xx

Just back from Butlins in Skegness (4 day break) with the last Sun deal. Cost £122 all in with the entertainment passes, linen etc.

Had a great time and went to book it a few days before online just to see what the price would be and it was coming up at £320 so good savings to be made.

That link sends you to when it was on in Jan as it says collect 10 tokens between Saturday Jan 3 until Saturday Jan 24!

Oh well the calendar still has the correct days if not the dates, not sure if you can use the online token tho?
#28
September, October and November only. Shame, I'll have to find something else for August then :(
#29
On the priority booking booklet, it says on page 2 that 2010 holidays can be booked now for some dates in March & April, but there is no link to do this, anyone know how to book one of these now??

Anyone have Sundays code word from News of the World? This was a handy tool last year for many so lets make it HOT!!
#31
i have a priority booking form so only need 8 tokens(codes) and it says in booking form only one bonus token can be used.
Can i use a the bonus token from news of the world and the online token as well? (or is the online token classed as bonus token)

As you would then have enough tokens by friday ready for saturday at one minute passed midnight to book.

Instead of waiting for the paper on saturday

Anyone know?

Yep, according to http://www.ukholidaysinthesun.co.uk/ the booking form will open on the 11th.

Does anyone know if the service charge is per night or per stay?
