sorry should have said, the V1 is for OS 31.8mm stems only, that V3 is for old style 25.4mm stems. V3 is also lower spec in several ways. you can only use one or the other, depending on your stem.

What's diff does the rise make for riding and do these come with grips
    Smiff
bars do not come with grips!

rise is a complicated topic, you might want to google, but basically for most people more rise feels better because it gives you a more upright riding position. this is simplifying quite a bit, downhillers often prefer low rise.

what's important is these are wide, which most people find gives more control.

tip: don't buy the 711! you can cut down the 745 to any width you like after trying it.

combine these with a seatpost dropper and you can take on most things, exspecially if youve got an orange underneath it all!!!

thanks added that to the top, certainly a great deal too, people seem to be going back to flat bars a bit (and ultra short stems, but that's another topic!).

the two guys who just voted cold? (hmm hur hur, it's just a bit of bent pipe - yes maybe but that's not what this site is for. you go ride your bent bit of pipe). doubt there's anything of this size and quality this cheap, nearest might be the Pro FRS 700mm at £22.50 at Tredz.

    edit bit OTT sorry
