  IMO the train bit early on is fantastic amazing but rest of film is awful , poor seen it all before , shame

  The train is completely computer-generated & The train crash was purposely made much more sensational than a train crash would actually be. The goal was to pay homage to the science-fiction movies of the '70s.

  Bought it on dvd and was a bit disappointed after it was pretty hyped up in many of the reviews. It's ok. My 12 year old got bored though and although it's a homage to 50's/70's sci-fi, it just doesn't quite cut it. I thought The Hole was a much more gripping film.

  Didn't know that! Pretty great for CG. Guess if I had thought about it, it would have made sense that it was but it didn't distract from the realism or excitement of that scene. Shame the rest of the film didn't match up.
