Dunno why this was voted down. If it delivers on its promise it'll beat the crappy one I bought from tesco for a tenner over Christmas. Heat partially restored.

Don't believe you that you've bought several of these. First time I've seen a 2x2.4A model.

But I would not buy this either since one of these no-name chargers went up in smoke in my car.

I don't think the cold voters appreciate the difference between a cheap USB charger around a couple of quid and these higher output versions.
My 2 amp chargers are from Anker, and people who have used them in the car have all commented on how fast the charge is even comparing it as faster versus their mains charger.
If this unit is safe, then the output is worth the price.
I'll be buying one to try.
