  Saw this in my local yesterday for the same price, was tempted but I'm trying to get rid of most of my games, not buy more :P and I've got a lot to play with at the minute anyway.... mabye if it's the same price in a few weeks.

  Perhaps because you had no proof that the deal existed (and if it was real it was store specific); the tesco entertainment price was £24.47 and this mirrored the in store of £24.47, which other people corroborated; Sainsbury's have a media sale on so this price isn't ridiculous in light of other Sainsbury's deals posted on here; Tesco's currently have no dedicated sale on atm.
  
  EDIT: Any chance it was a DS bundle deal (i.e. buy a DS, get NSMB for a fiver?).

  The 2 large Sainsbury's stores in Leicester which sells video games have pretty much sold out of their top items. I went in last week and was very lucky to pick up the last copies of Mario Kart and Donkey Kong Country Returns for £15 and £10 respectively. They had **** all else though. Even the Blu-Ray deals only had the crap ones left.
  
  How I wish NSMB was in stock for a tenner though! Would love that game. Oh well can't be too greedy I suppose :)
