Managed to get hold of a Wii console at Toys R Us in Doncaster by queuing at 4am. Some people had been there since closing time the night before!!!

Anyway, they were trying to push Super Mario Galaxy on us as well. Apparently it's reduced from £39.99 to £26.87 for 3 days only..well, 2 days now.

First of many deals hopefully! :)

I cannot believe people will wait in the cold all night to save £50-60.

You can get them off ebay for £230 if your patient enough.

My mate got one for £221 from ebay and picked it up locally.

Galaxy looks a good price. I got it for £27 preordered.

Galaxy is excellent and reason enough to own a Wii.

Welcome to HotUKDeals OfnPanad, just wanted to suggest that you should try and do a search for deals before you post them. This deal has already been posted here by my good self. I'm not complaining about you posting the same deal (although you'd be surprised how many people do!) but it just saves duplication.

Good price for a game that scored 9.7 out of 10 on ign.com!

Well I opened the game up and played through 5 hours straight yesterday. The controls don't feel tacked on unlike a lot of wii games, in fact the only motions you use the wiimote for (so far) are a quick sideways shake (or in my case more like a twitch haha) for the spin attack and sideways shake again to propel yourself up and over vines to higher places. The pointer is used to collect star bits and aim at things and the A button does jump, where the nunchuk moves you around. I'd say it is the killer app those of us who bought the wii when it first came out but got bored of tedious mini games and tacked on motion controls have been waiting for.

Super Mario Galaxy is the best game on any console right now. A huge amount of fun and two people can get involved in playing. (It's so good that people will happily watch you playing through it.)

I was in Toys R us yesterday just browsing. At this price I couldn't walk past the Wii games without picking one up and getting very excited. Now if only my lads birthday would hurry up :)
