This game is available on pre-order due for release on 2 December 2016 from Amazon.
However, if you are a PRIME customer, it seems that you can get a £2 discount on this item at check-out, which brings this to £26, which I believe is a bargain. Even at £28, it is a good price.

Some features are as follows:-

Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS is all about playing courses anytime, anywhere
Compatible with all consoles in the 3DS family
Comes with 100 built-in courses designed by Nintendo
Levels have extra challenges too, such as collecting every coin or defeating every enemy before reaching the goal. Completing these extra challenges earns you medals
Create your own Super Mario courses. It includes every tool and course part from the Wii U version, except for the Mystery Mushroom and the linked Mario costumes

Decent price, though slightly cheaper at Simply Games (£27.85): http://deals.simplygames.com/p/super-mario-maker-nintendo-3ds

Amazon Prime Customer = £26 on pre-order (£2 deducted automatically at check-out)
Non-Prime = £28 which is still a good price, albeit 15p dearer compared to Simply games

Yep, I know. A Prime subscription has an annual fee, though, of course - and without one, Simply Games are typically much more reliable at hitting release day delivery (and often earlier).

Regardless, as you say, £28 still isn't a bad price.

Original 3DS XL? I expect that we'll see cheaper over the course of the next few weeks, though of course can't say for certain.

Black Friday's coming up so you'll possibly get a better deal.

Wish I had bought the New 3DS Extreme Butoden bundle for £120 several months ago. Hope itll be available again for 'bout this price.

Okay. Personally, I'd still expect there to be better offers to come, but of course ultimately it's your decision.

i bought it quidco has tracked at £13.98 so £144 total. i really liked the standard 3ds. for monster hunter intensive fights though i found too unstable and i hated the battery life.

was quite excited for this until they said you cant upload or download levels online. only via local. no biggie but still. kinda spoilt it for me.

Pointless game.

Pointless game.
There's still a respectable number of levels included in the game, without any need for downloads, etc. - so it still may be worth picking up, even if it lacks the most compelling feature from the Wii U original.

massively overrated game and this is not a great price. It maybe almost the cheapest but in best hukd tradition of the past year or so for me the cheapest current price isn't enough to qualify it as a "deal" when it isnt in any way a bargain.

Not knocking the op for posting just saying this is how it is now on here. No more "wow thats a bargain!" moments for 3ds owners in particular.

Haven't really shopped around for it and not rushing my purchase yet, but I did notice it on Gameseek for £27.48 plus some points. http://www.gameseek.co.uk/pd/VideoGames6anv3v62k3/Super-Mario-Maker-3DS

1. How is it overrated? It's not even out yet.
2. It is a good price at this moment in time with a reputable very popular retailer with great customer service.

It's HotUKDeals not HotUKBargains, it is for highlighting the best price for products to help people out.

Ironically some of the best deals that I have picked up on here never even go 'hot'.

He is an adult.... I must admit I have barely played MM, but it has been my kids favourite Wii U game and he has barely put it down playing it almost daily since last Xmas. I'd say its probably massively under rated IMHO, but then I am a parent and realise Nintendo is mainly aimed at kids.

Thanks for the Prime heads up - £26 delivered is a bargain for a release day issue.
