voted down for incomplete info. thanks for dunfyboy for the added info tho.

I think that a deal should be voted hotter or colder based on its price, not semantics. The poster copied the description precisely from the seller's webpage, and has generously shared a deal. Heat added.

Why not just ask for extra info or ignore it? Or wait for it....check it out for YOURSELF?

Are you joking?
Or are you unaware that T-Flash (Transflash) and Micro SD are two names for the same product?

Heat added.

Wikipedia - "The microSD format was created by SanDisk. It was originally called T-Flash, and then TransFlash, before being renamed microSD"
So actually the description is complete, you just didn't understand it!

Edit: seems like Late had the same point, lol

do they charge vat at the increased price?

Cheaper still from Dealextreme for similar products, but the delivery will take longer.

Focalprice is like a worldwide flea market. The item will probably be shipped from China or something, and will take 4+ weeks to arrive.

Good deal, but I would avoid Focalprice.

probably focalprice as they do the 1cent think quite often on random cheap stuff.
think there were some problems reported with the ones posted from dealextreme, these may be the same as its basically the same old stuff. possibly user error though.

as a reader i dont see the point, for making a small 'nano' storage then they seem nice

Shipping to Europe is to expensive...sorry!

Nice find, heat added.

These are so rubbish...i bought one of these from china only cost a few pence...it crashes your pc most of the times..displays the blue screen of death...then your pc crashes and reboots...binned it in the end bought a proper sandisk reader, no problems there..lol

Just out of interest, where or what would you atatch this to using the stringy thing thats on the end? I assume its there to be used.

I like all my little gadets and gizmos, the smaller the better as i can fit more in a drawer. ;)

Hot for me

I'll ignore the actual company, as I've never dealt with them - but I have bought from overseas many times...
The charge in £sterling will be the converted price at either the date of purchase or the date the funds transfer. I'm not certain which, but in most cases the difference is unlikely to be more than a couple of pence. Certainly on an item in this price range there's not going to be more than 1p difference from one day to another. I've never heard of a card where you'd be charged a fee for the currency transfer.

No import duty is due on anything less than £18. If an item of greater value than £18 is imported it's a gamble - usually small items will slip through, but if they're stopped there's the duty as well as a charge.
I stress that the above is my understanding of imports, and may be incorrect in some respects. You'd have no problems in that regards on this item, but don't take it as gospel for larger items - check HM Revenue and Customs website if you want the full and proper facts.

Yes, I faced the same problem in my last purchase. But that's not their fault, it's because the courier waste too long time in delivery. Last time, I request a RMA about the long delivery time, their cusomter serice staff replied to me replied to my email very fast.

This is probably fine for something like this, but, remember this company is in the USA, and if you need to return anything it is at YOUR expense, they sell cheap sure, but history on the items is unknown, they could be unopened catalogue returns or could be old stock discontinued lines etc, might even be open box returns i guess..... either way, shop/company is not in the UK, so i wont touch it with a barge poll for anything bigger/expensive

Prey-Pal payments only too by the looks of it ... yeah right, i don;'t think so !
