Virgin online are doing great deals on Wii games when you pre-order these days.

Just last week they had Trauma Center for 25 !!!

Do they take payment now or do they charge your card when the item is in stock?
#2
Some excellent prices from Virgin!

Mario Strikers Charged! for £25 (or less with this voucher!).

Top pre-orders:

MySims - £26.10 with code.
Super Mario Galaxy - £26.10 with code.
#3
have ordered the deal,

just wondering what are the conditions for the code etc?
#4
Is there not another 10% off for using your Virgin Credit Card?

Dont forget Quidco!
#5
This is one of the best Wii games so far IMO, really enjoying it so far. Thats a good price.
#6
Really excellent price, £25 for a new release is making the Wii a really great platform to own. I got Trauma Centre from Virgin last week for £25 too. A bargain!
#7
Top spot OP! Heat and rep added.

Ordered, cos I can't wait to play this. My Wii might FINALLLY get some use!

So do people think this 10% code is a Virgin Credit card code or what?

Cheers.
#8
i tink so but worked for me!
#9
ihi. i know this has probably been asked before. Does virgin take money from account once goods despatched and not before? ive got a busy month!
thanks, pixel

Hello. :)

My daughter wants a WII for christmas.

Would it be worth my while picking up the games with these codes, or do you think I should hang on until Christmas and hope prices have came down?

Thanks Caroline

THIS IS the code for Virgin Credit Cards so don't be surprised if your order gets cancelled

The 10% discount only applies to orders made using a Virgin Credit Card and can be applied to orders of any value.
Standard Web site Terms and Conditions apply and must be accepted before you can complete your purchase.
This discount only applies to orders placed using Virgin Credit Cards; orders made using other payment cards will be cancelled.

Most Wii games are around £30 from what I've seen and in my opinion the more popular games aren't going to drop to £22.50 this side of
Christmas. Games that are a movie tie-in have a better chance of dropping in price after the film has had its run

wii games are priced anywhere between £15 and £25 for release

360 and ps3 are around £30 and £33

roughly anyway

This game however is about the right price for release, and you'll able to grab it at this price in the future too. Obviously if you can afford to buy it now Caroline80 then do so, just in case

Where are you finding new release Wii games for £15-£25? Everywhere I've been looking they are £30 or more. There are obviously exceptions to this such as Big Brain Academy but for the most part the sites I browse sell them for circa £30.

Big Brain was around £15
Mario Football/Zelda and majority of other major new releases are around £25
I am sure I got excite truck for around £19 or £20

Just use www.find-games.co.uk then compare those prices with vouchers from here, and quidco cashback
#19
I'm getting so sick of jerks posting Virgin Credit card deals.

£25 however is a great price for a first party game, I doubt shopto or Choices will beat it.

Virgin Megastores went from QuidCo shortly before their latest site redesign and haven't reappeared since, so no.. no QuidCo to be had at present

no problem! don't keep using that site to post pointless deals on here though :p

we get enough of that as it is ocassionally :whistling:

if you find something really special though... :-D

by the way, voted hot!! great deal this
#25
Heat and rep, it's a great deal, even though the code doesn't work now...but I wouldn't want to take the risk of a cancelled order anyway :)
#26
You don't need a virgin credit card to use these discounts
#27
I've got a Virgin credit card. How can I enter the code after submitting the order? If you enter the coupon code before submitting the order their website doesn't recognise it.

There are two boxes to enter codes, use the one on the right of the screen, not the one below your order! :)

I use uk.gamestracker.com - it will email you when the price drops below a certain amount for any games on your "watchlist" etc. Very handy...

Tried that, the code still isn't recognised. Anyone know of an alternative code?

Anyone know how to enter my student card details to get 10% off?
#32
my order has just been cancelled! Has anyone elses? I paid with my Virgin card so am entitled to the 10% off, so I really don't know what they're playing at!
#33
Check out the BOGOF on Wii games thread from Virgin. Just be wary of some of offers. Lots of unhappy punters on there who have ordered, had money taken and being given the run around. Richard "Dick" Branson should sort his house out rather than getting onto TV at every opportunity.
#34
Don't need to read the thread - I've got that going on too! I really don't think I'll ever use Virgin again.
#35
Aparently my order has been despatched.
#36
Mine has also been dispatched; hope it arrives tomorrow!

After placing my initial order with that 10% discount code, I read that orders are only checked when they're about to be dispatched; meaning that they would have cancelled the order when they realised I used the discount code without the credit card, and I wouldn't have had the game on the day of release. With this in mind, I cancelled the order myself and made a new one at the full price (£25), which was still cheaper than anywhere else.

If anybody finds their order being cancelled, this will be why.
#37
But I ordered with my Virgin moneycard so I'm entitled to the 10% discount!
#38
Finally managed to get through to someone. He thought that my order may have timed out! He was going to re-order it for me at the higher price and then would refund me the difference once I got the game through, but I declined as I've had enough of Virgin and knowing my luck I'd end up paying more for it.

He's going to e-mail the warehouse team to see if they can reinstate my order (although he didn't sound hopeful). Poor chap has been left on his own today. He was saying that his colleague should've been in at 8.30, but never turned up and he wasn't due in until 10am, so the phones have jsut been left ringing all morning!
#39
mine is on its way :0)

i ordered it ages ago and got my 10% discount even tho i paid with an A&L debit card!!!
#40
I ordered a Wii Console and Wii Play both with the 10% Virgin card, suffice to say my Wii is sat next to my Xbox 360 right now and my account has been debited the discount price :-D So a Wii and Wii play/wiimote for £184 delivered :-D
