Mario and Luigi are enjoying a lazy afternoon at their house when they hear the terrible news: Princess Peach has been kidnapped! The two Mario brothers head straight for Bowser's castle to get her back, but Bowser is just as surprised about Peach's kidnapping as theyare. At that moment, a strange top-hatted villain warps in and abducts everyone but Mario. The mysterious villain then forces Peach and Bowser to get married, creating a rift of dark energy that threatens to tear the universe apart. Only Mario can save the day ... but he can't do it alone.

This is an obvious deal, surprised it hasn't been posted!

Use one of the £5 vouchers above, and this will bring it down to £27.99

If you use Quidco, you can get 11% (£3.08!) and if you don't use it, now is the time to start!

So total price is £24.91!

Bit more expensive than Virgin but cheaper than the ShopTo deal.

If you order before closing tonight, you should get delivery for release (This Friday)

Yep it is cheaper than Shopto but they had it instock 4 days before the release, whereas to save a couple pounds, you're saying it should arrive for release date.

It depends how desperate people are for the game, if you can't wait, then the shopto deal is the one for you but if you're not bothered about getting the game early and would prefere the extra £2 saving, then this deal is of course better. :)

It's always great to have more options though depending on if you're after a better price or want the game asap. :)

well with...

Expensive: ShopTo, you might get it a day before release. But I think it's a bit late now for that, and will have to settle for relase day delivery.

Medium: Game, release day delivery and a high street shop

Cheapest: Virgin, cheapest option. But you will be looking at about 3 weeks delivery from my experience. You might get lucky though!

Note: When I say expensive, I mean the most expensive of the 3 options. Still a good price wherever you go IMO

i cant believe people can get so desperate to play a game as soon as possible and pay more money

It's not really desperate.

You can have the game on day one for £24

Or to save about £1 you can wait ages via a unreliable service from virgin :?

This deal I already added to another post by RFM on the 10th.

After recent experiences with Virgin I wouldn't order from them unless you aren't bothered about a delivery timescale (which with Virgin seems to range from 'Possibly delivered at some point' to 'Sorry your order has reached the 30days expiry date'.

If your looking for cheapest Paper Mario I'd buy through Quidco and order from Game using the getupandplay £5 discount code (from earlier post).

£32.99 - £5 via code = £27.99

Quidco (based on £32.99 original price) = £3.63 refunded

Total Paid = £24.36 = Bargain :santa:

I did, however, get the math wrong because for some reason this is the first GAME purchase I have made where the quidco is tracking as 11% of the discounted price. Previously when I have used a discount code the Quidco payment tracked as 11% of the original price

The good news is that it's already been despatched so (fingers crossed) it should arrive tomorrow. I'm pretty sure it'll be the UK version as, worryingly, Shopto have sent out a few foreign copies to those who ordered and received early :whistling:

I posted it in the Deal which was already headed 'Paper Mario Instock early and £29.99' :p I didn't see the need for another deal with the same product just to state it could be found cheaper elsewhere.

Mine arrived today but I haven't even bothered trying it yet :whistling:

Just put it on now, been watching boring intros for 10 minutes!

and the majority of peple on here don't have time to read every single page of every single topic, so it's always best to post it as a new deal!

virgin megastores are a joke
preordered super paper mario on the 11th August
got an email yesterday saying my order had been cancelled due to the item being 'back ordered' for more than 30 days and therefore automatically cancelled
space flights? pah. they can barely manage selling games...

Game intro's should always have a skip option :x but hardly any do unfortunately.

When I posted about this deal there was only one thread specifically about Super Paper Mario and I thought that thread would be the ideal place to add to the discussion with what I thought was the best deal. Personally I think this is far more constructive than starting completely new threads for the same product with minimal price differences. :whistling: This is something you see all the time in posts - when someone finds a product that's slightly lower in price at another retailer they just add to the original post.

Also, if you care to look, my post was 5 down from the start of the original topic - hardly requiring 'peple to read every single page of every single topic'. To be more precise there was 1 topic specifically about Super Mario and my post was 1/3 the way down the first page.

Now, however, if you search under 'Super Paper Mario' on the website you find 3 specific threads on this product. The original which was started by RFM on the 10th - this has details of early shipping from shopto (RFM), prices from virgin (nipperkipper) and the associated problems with ordering from them, prices from Game (using voucher/quidco) etc. If you notice there are several people listing different LOWER prices in the same thread - going on your logic almost every post in this thread should actually be a new thread?

The other two threads - yours on 11th and scouting_gerbil's on the 14th are just reposts of information in this original thread. So now instead of having 1 thread with all the relevant prices and information (like who is reliable to order from etc) there are THREE threads and you think this is best? :giggle:

Edit.

Just realised Scouting_gerbil's post was started in August so was the first post on Super Mario Paper (was originally posted for Pre-ordering from Virgin - yuck) I apologise to the scouting gerbil :) you posted first and wasn't reposting previously posted information. When I posted in RFM's post I didn't see any other threads on Super Paper Mario but, regardless of this, I still stand by the premise that products found at slightly lower prices than existing deals posted should just be added to the original deal. There's no point everyone adding a new Topic to say they have found X item £1 cheaper up the road. It's this action that means there can be several threads for one product at roughly the same price - the information on these products - price, quality, information on retailer, etc gets spread around and people who notice/can be bothered have to check all the threads whereas others who don't realise there are other threads can be ill informed when ordering.

This one is quite a bit cheaper with quidco  With the addition of double game reward points too

Did I see your post? Nope! So how would anyone else who spends even less time on here see it?
By your logic, this site would be useless to anyone who reads RSS feeds, or uses the filter function on the front page. They can onyl find deals if they are prepared to read through 5+ pages of jibber jabber

It's a different company, therefor a different post is made.

The only time multiple deals are posted in the same thread is either:

When it's a supermarket deal, and we are supposed to use the Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's threads etc

When the deal is related to a voucher that would make for example, every DVD on it's website cheaper than everywhere else
If people stop bumping the more expensive threads, they get burried and people only see the cheapest options.

I used to have time to read every single post people made here, but now it's just flooded with replies (usually nothing to do with the OP even)

If you want to talk about it more, PM me because this keeps being bumped with information that isn't relevent to the topic.

Thanks :)

Arrived today, I didn't know Game was quite so good for delivery I might order from them more often.
