Also, why buy from a tax cheat when you can buy from a UK business who made the low price happen in the first place? If you have vouchers then fair enough, but if you just prefer shopping at Amazon then you should consider what you are supporting.

Because game are price-gouging rip-off merchants?

In this case they clearly are not, Game set the cheap price and Amazon have copied it. If Amazon was cheaper then fair play buy at the cheapest price. When Amazon Price Match people on this site seem to herald it as a better deal rather than buying of the company who set the cheap price. All you are doing is marginalising competition in the market which is bad for everyone in the long run. When the only option is Amazon then what do you think happens to their prices and service? On top of this you are cutting out vital support for what are normally smaller companies who pay a far better proportion of their taxes.

Any one know where to get the GameCube adapter from?
#12

Just ordered, was going to get this last night at full price, heat added, many thanks indeed.

Strangely, I got a 1p discount on my order, so paid £29.98?!? (From game.co.uk)

Good luck every supplier has been short stocked and I'm unsure they're getting more this year. If you're particularly keen on it you could look for the bundle to see if it is in stock anywhere for £50. Shopto got stock recently but i think they sold out in about half an hour.

How can a deal be hot if a retailer just price matches?

good deal. might be worth Flubit to possibly get an extra 10% off. I thought getting it for £31 was cheap.

Oh and also, the Bespoke deal is back. £15 Smash Bros, woooo!

I think I got everything I need for the Wii for now, ain't played it yet. In the last week I've ordered MK8, Smash Bros, Pro Pad, Wiimote that came with bundle as well as some other games, I bought Mario U, NintendoLand. I guess I can sit tight for a while and wait for better price drops on other games I want on Wii U.

Never use brick and mortar GAME stores as they use extortionate pricing models and the staff are usually rude. The website is top notch and quite competitive though. My Ocarina of Time 3DS went missing for a few weeks in transit. I rang GAME and they sent a second copy no questions asked. Fantastic customer service. Amazon meanwhile cancelled my GameCube adaptor Smash 4 pre-order at 10 at night the day before it was due to be delivered, offering a measly couple of quid as compensation. It’s not all black and white and Amazon aren’t as great as they used to be.

Does game make jobs for people in the UK?
NO. Does Amazon? Yes. So who is better off? It's the layman, people are always complaining about Amazon but what about Starbucks and other tax evaders?

Also what about Tax cheats, benefit fraudsters. People need to get off their high horse and stop ranting about Amazon all the time!

More stock at major retailers (i.e. at RRP) is meant to be appearing soon, for example shopto had a limited number of the Smash Bros bundle recently. Realistically though the chance of getting one before Christmas is wafer thin because even if stock appears it is being bought up pronto by resellers.

I was put off ordering from GAME when they sent me a clearly non-new copy of Bravely Default when I had ordered a new one.

If it's not sealed, it isn't new.

To my knowledge game is an all uk company with stores all over the county.... How exactly are they not creating any jobs?

I try to avoid using those as well. In the specific case of Starbucks I refuse to pay a fiver for a cup of coffee anyway. Also haven't Amazon only paid a grand total of about £10m to the tax man despite selling tens of billions of pounds worth of goods? So how does the layman benefit from Amazon evading paying hundreds of millions of tax in these times of austerity when local authorities are cutting the youth services and hundreds of jobs in order to make up the short fall and save a few million here and there?

£29.99 is a pretty sweet price for Smash Wii U and worth getting it because this special promotion won't last for long.

Much like Grainger Games. Advertise as New send out as a used unsealed copy.

My son has asked for this he's 5, is there a reason it's a 12?

I mean it's nonstop violence with Nintendo characters kicking the crap out of eachother left right and centre so that's probably the reason.

That said it's all cartoon with no blood/death/gore so personally i don't think it should be an issue. I'm not a parent though!

Will be plenty of videos on YouTube/twitch. tv if you want to scout it out for yourself.

Game are a UK company, with UK staff in UK stores. To my knowledge they have never been mentioned in the list of large multinational companies who work round paying tax in this country (it would be hard to do so as their head office is in Basingstoke). By supporting them you know that most of the earnings are going back into our economy through jobs and taxes.

I would say exactly the same if someone was saying to go to Starbucks because they were price matching a British chain who offered exactly the same coffee, made the price cheaper in the first place and paid their fair share of taxes to boot.

Bespoke offers £10 credit for £5 brought it down to 24.99. Well chuffed

Thanks! He's made me much numerous videos on YouTube I just thought with it being a 12 maybe there was more than just fighting but maybe not lol.
