You don't have to purchase ZombiU but i am using it for demonstration purposes as Super Smash Bros is £38.49 and i needed something to take it up above £40 for the code to work. You could purchase any other cheap game to take it over £40.

The code Is 'GIFT40' which provides you with £10 off when you spend £40 or more.

Could an admin change the direct link, please: http://www.play.com/

So this replaces the 25% back in points promotion that ended yesterday. Better deal if you are spending close to £40, worse if you're not.

Edit: Oh and where did this voucher come from as I can't find it on the site. Wanted a gander at the t+c's

Well that took along time to sort out. You have to go via rakuten not play and have an active rakuten account which is different from a play a pound even though there the same company. I also had to delete my credit card details and enter them again on the account page.
But it's a good deal with getting smash for £35.44 and zombie u for free if you choose that option.

Well I guess you missed the million and one rakuten 'deals' that were posted previously, the 'you have to go through rakuten not play' had been covered in most(if not all) of those of those threads.

P.s. Here we go again, I thought we'd seen the back of the rakuten 'deals' but we should be so lucky.

Wish I had known this yesterday.:( Hot deal.

The item I want is on Play.com but not Rakuten - typical!! Be weary if ordering from youwantitwegotit as items constantly 'lost in post'. They mark as dispatched but in truth nothings gone anywhere!

Sounds like a decent deal.

If you got a Wii U then you definitely gotta own Smash Wii U too, and try to play with one of the traditional controllers rather than the GamePad (unless you're okay with delayed response).

Well no use to people that didn't get the game plus gc adapter bundle or got the adapter on its own while it was £20 or less, anyone wanting the adapter now will have to pay like £50 for it from eBay/Amazon market place seller/etc.

When I mentioned "traditional controllers" I was also referring to the Hori, PDP, Wii U Pro Controller, Classic Controller, Pro Controller and so on. There's like what.. 8 controllers or more that are compatible? Damn Nintendo it didn't need that many.

Don't all the ones going through the wiimote also have input delays?

Except Wii U Pro Controller but they're still a lot better than playing with the GamePad/Wiimote.

Going from the GamePad to the GameCube controller w/adapter was a huge improvement, imo!

Thanks. Good heads up about another £10 off. Worked for me on an existing account, no need to change payment details.

Spent ages trying to get two items from same retailer, set up an account, added the code but takes 0.00 off, what am I doing wrong? Was trying to get ssb and party

just thought of something.....would the club nintendo snes controller work on this game via wii remote? would it play well with analogue stick using a d pad?

Code not working for me anyone else had problems?
#22
Worked for me. Didn't have an account already so created one... not sure if that's relevant.

Ordered Smash Bros and Super Mario Bros for a total of £46.94 (£38.95 + £17.99 - £10). Went for the Royal Mail free shipping - hope I don't regret that ;-)

Not working for me. The code works but the postage cost says pending, I placed an order but it won't let me finish the transaction and pay. Anyone else having this problem?
#24
Gosh, wish I'd read that it needs to be the same retailer.

Can just browse The Game Collection's different categories.

They do Batman Gotham Knight under More > DVD which isn't bad if I remember correctly, and is only £2.49

Cheers OP.

I had to re attempt a second time if that helps, failed the first time for some reason.

Don't know about postage, I selected the free postage.
