From 25th June to 2nd July, as a promotional 2nd anniversary, Super Stardust HD is 1.99 euros.

If you do not have this game already then there is no excuse, this game is fantastic in true 1080p and one of the most pure arcade experiences i've played since Defender.

Buy Super Stardust HD for a reduced price with a fantastic promotion to celebrate its second anniversary on PlayStation Network.

Super Stardust HD on PLAYSTATION 3 has been shining brightly on PSN with its sci-fi shooting action and startling 3D visuals - and now you have the chance to immerse yourself into this galaxy of fun for only 1.99, for a limited time.

From June 25, 2009 until July 2, 2009, Super Stardust HD will be a paltry 1.99 to celebrate its second anniversary since release, making it the perfect time to explore this popular title. The shoot 'em up has been a firm favourite with players, becoming a top ten seller on PSN and is still bringing in the plaudits after two years, so you won't want to miss out on the game everyone's still talking about - and the chance to show off your shooting skills on the global online ranking leaderboards.

With its stellar expansion pack available to buy, which add a number of extras to Super Stardust HD, including multiplayer support for up to four players and a host of fresh modes, the opportunity to blast yourself into some great gameplay is in your hands.

Take advantage of this offer between June 25, 2009 until July 2, 2009 and become part of the Super Stardust HD sensation.

Make sure you purchase the Solo Pack because this adds a lot to the game, i'm unsure if the solo pack is included, but Endless mode is amazing.

I have guestimated the price since the stupid UK site lists the price in euros ???

Gameshare is not permitted anymore, in the new T&C, look on sony forums, people have been banned, just not worth it.

1.99 euros. How do you get to the EU playstation store?

Obviously the UK store defaults to pounds. Or are we all assuming it's going to be £1.99?
#20
Absolute bargain. The gameshare thing is a brillaint idea too shame nobody does it.
#21

Plus people dont gameshare because your details are at huge risk!

"Super Stardust HD" is definitely one of the better arcade games on the PlayStation Store.
A real "just one more go" title!

The "Super Stardust HD™ Complete" (Game Pack) or "Super Stardust Triple Pack" contains "Super Stardust HD™", "Super Stardust HD™ Solo", & "Super Stardust HD™ Team".

The game supports:
1-4 Players;
1503Kb minimum save size;
HDTV screen resolution: 720p, 1080i, 1080p;
Network Features.

It was originally released on 27 December 2007. I purchased the above "Triple Pack" bundle for £6.49. It is still great value for money. I return to the title for a few hours per week even now.

There is a free Playable Demo for download if you do not fancy risking an outright purchase on an unknown title, though.

This title is also one of the free downloads available with the Limited Edition 160Gb PS3 console.

Re: "Game Sharing"

True, the terms of purchase for "Super Stardust HD™" (and many, but not all, other titles on the PlayStation Store) do state "One time fee for use of downloads on up to 5 activated PS3™ systems", however...

Here is a previous listing where I raised similar concerns over dealing in PlayStation Network accounts:

"EXPIRED - FOR Trade: PS3 PSN Games"

Note that sigma (Margerator) closed the thread prematurely.

I will also add that once somebody has control over your PlayStation Network Id they can change the associated e-mail address, create sub-accounts off the master account, reset the e-mail address & hand back control to you.

Unless you specifically look for this activity the first you will know about it is when the sub-account is created & associated on another PS3 console & (if a monthly spending limit has not been imposed on the sub-account) you receive an e-mail informing you that a charge has been made to your credit card for activity on the account.

Your pre-loaded wallet balance can be empty very quickly, and if you have requested "automatic top-up" of wallet funds then your entire credit card balance is at risk.

PS. Checking the trading rules...

---
4) It should go without saying, NO prohibited, classified or illegal items. This includes fake/counterfeit goods, copied media, ANY console cards 'TTDS', 'DSTT' or 'Pandora' batteries etc., cable TV boxes 'NTL' or 'Virgin Media' etc., money swapping' such as bank transfers of £xx paid in to others PayPal account for £xx amount, Google Adwords, group specific discount codes such as 'student card numbers' for example, weapons of any kind, alcohol, tobacco products or illegal substances, gaming accounts such as 'Steam' which are non transferable and any similar trades will be expired and closed.
---

Be safe out there... In (cyber)Space no-one can here you scream...

BFN,

Mostly unlimited download of content but your PSN can be registered only a max of 5 times? :?

After that your account must be deactivated from a PS3 to be reloaded on another  however in no way am I suggesting you do, it renders passwords for content safety completely redundant.

Arrrrggghhh I paid full price for the combo pack thingy not too long ago :(

totally agree, i still have this for my CD32. Does the PS3 version have the same music??
#28
Great stuff - thanks for the heads up.

btw, you might want to try Everyday Shooter if you like this, I think it is pure class personally (if a bit bloomin difficult!) and it has a great soundtrack.

Top game. I've put loads of hours into this. BTW I paid £6 odd for the game + the two packs.
Comes with trophies and you can also use custom soundtracks although the ingame music is pretty good I did like to play my own albums.

Also you may like to know that on the US PSN there are a couple of "how to play" videos, I found them helpful. These are not on the UK PSN.

Brill game - I~ bought this when it was first released but do not have the expansion packs so may buy again if this deal includes them (does it?) as that would save cash... I still love good old fashioned SHMUPS!

I'm guessing that this is the price for the original game only - and that they have reduced it in the hope that people will then buy the expansions...............

......................I could just be being cynical though.......................:whistling:

The last bit of the offers' description on this thread states that there are expansion packs to buy....so I would guess the £1.50 is for the basic game.
#33
The solo expansion pack is the best with Endless Mode.

Yes I determine the price based on what sony with either make it appear as, usually they dont like even numbers, so it will be £1.49 or £1.79.

Housemarque is a Finnish video game company founded in 1995. It is a fusion of two smaller companies, Terramarque and Bloodhouse. The rise of the PC game market prompted these two companies with a background in Amiga games to change their strategy.

Just played the demo and I love it!! I will certainly be buying it on Thurs :)

While you are there, buy PixelJunk Monsters as well. Only £3 (approx.) and it will suck up loads of your time.
