Two socially inept teenage boys are about to graduate high school. Evan (Michael Cera) is sweet, smart, and generally terrified. Seth (Jonah Hill) is foul mouthed, volatile, and all-consumed with the topic of human sexuality. Seth and Evan want nothing more than to lose their virginity before they head off to college. To do that, though, they need to get liquor for the big party that night. With the help of their friend Fogell, a.k.a. McLovin (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), and his fake I.D., the three of them go on a hilarious chase for that elusive booze, dodging incompetent cops (Knocked Up's Seth Rogen and Saturday Night Live's Bill Hader), angry neighbors and jealous boyfriends!

Not sure if cheap or not but love this film (personal choice for those about to put imdb ratings against it)

Bought it on Blu Ray and its quality.

Brilliantly funny film. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys this type of film. (Similar to American Pie(s), Dude where's my car?, etc.)

Are people still buying non HD films?

Gave up on this film halfway through. Not a patch on 40 year old virgin. Dull, and unfunny.

Oh come on.
Get off of it dude, I like my high def (Blu-ray, HD DVD, Sky HD & my .mkv downloads) as much as anyone but more than that I like movies, not video formats or video resolutions, so SD DVD upscaled is fine by me.

You talk as if everything on DVD is or will be available on high def, which is far from the case
(and as we saw with VHS tape not everything is guaranteed to make it onto a new format)

Of couse some jaw-dropping high definition stuff is nice to see.......but be honest, there's loads of HD content out there that is very very ordinary, unimpressive & barely a step up from DVD.

Anyways. my Mrs thinks this is a 'bloke film' and can't see it as anything much beyond corny & childish.

Personally I though all the stuff surrounding the 2 cops was some of the funniest I've seen for a while.

This was one of the funniest films i watched in 2008. Really funny and if your on the fence an haven't watched it then just get it.

Great price heat added. :)

While i agree blu-ray is the future i don't really see how this will be improved vastly by hd format. Fair enough on action films by this is all about the jokes not the quality of the picture

Great film, good price, heat added

I watched this at a free preview screening. I wasn't expecting much of it, but I actually really enjoyed it =]

Hehe. You nasty people. I love comedy, but this one didn't do it for me. Knocked Up was the same. I expected to love them but they just became boring very fast.
