Demon Tweeks are currently offering a circa 17-20% discount (Approx £50 off) the Superchips Bluefin remapping tool + Remap. They are also including a free K&N Air Filter relevant to your car (usually worth £30). No discount codes needed.
The Bluefin tool allows you to apply and remove a professional provided remap from Superchips to your car within 10 minutes rather than taking it to their office.
Gains very by engine however they are promising improvements in BHP, Torque and fuel consumption for diesel engines.
See here http://www.superchips.co.uk/s/how-it-works

I know these aren't for everyone and I'm hoping not to open up the remap vs tuning box debate. But I am just pointing out that you can get the Bluefin cheaper from Demon Tweeks rather than direct from Superchips, plus you also receive a K&N air filter for free (usually £30 - £50).
Potential 6% cashbach via topcashback also

and remember to change back to stock if your car is in warranty and you put it in for a manufacturers service?

Every time I use my car it will lose performance from the manufacture specifications. Don't ever remember a partial refund from my insurance for loss of bhp.

Used one of these on my BMW 320d for about 6 years. No problems whatsoever. Smoother, more rapid acceleration, feels like it should have come from factory like this. Never any problem with warranty work.

These look pretty good. Are they pretty decent?

All the reviews I've read seem to suggest they are very good as long as your expectations are realistic. What sets this device apart is that you can, as mentioned above, remove the re-map for any warranty work etc and then put it back on again. Seems to be that sometimes a main dealer will reset an ECU, meaning a new purchase of a re-map. This negates that.
I've bitten the bullet and will report back when I've given it a go.

Good price for this. Only reason I'm not going for it is, 35% extra BHP and 100NM of torque on mine will probably chew out my flywheel.
Considering a Spider Tuning device. That way I can control how much extra power I end up with.

That is right you don't. However getting caught with one of these maps on and not declared, will void insurance and could get you a hefty fine and claim if it's after an accident.
Depending on your car. Admiral seem to add about 10% to the premium if it's 25% increase or less

Because many voters no longer vote on a saving or deal, but on whether they like or dont like an item. Its a shame as people lose out on genuinely good offers nowadays. I posted this knowing it would go cold, but if it benefits 1 person, its worth it.

This is a generic map that is not optimised for your own car it just gives some increase in performance regardless of the state of your own standard engine.. Personally I would not have one as I would prefer one tailored to my own car via live mapping or a rolling road.

My current car required larger injectors (and Milltek exhaust) to achieve +35BHP (Stage 2) with a decent tuner which a bluefin map does not apparently require. Imagine an engine possibly running lean every time you give it the full beans.

Definately not for me and I can do without the K&N filter, stock is fine for me and a lot less noisy.

They don't seem to do all makes/models. My car is not available but is available on the Bluefin website

Perhaps K&N don't manufacture an air filter for your model of car?
