Thanks for posting.

Have a few of these now, plus some of the ones in tins that are slightly more, they are really good. If you can catch a 3-for-2 offer they work out even better value too :)

Would rather have this than spend excess money on urban decay. I wear eyeshadow everyday and tested urban decay, it's over rated and not worth the extra money. I will be testing this and if produces a good pigment I will be buying this

Have a look here , its not quite like testing it yourself but it might help swatch

Vivo makeup was similar in quality to Makeup Revolution - wish Vivo would bring their makeup back!!!

These are amazing! I have a few now and they have the 144 colour palette for £10 I think it's OOS at the min online but I've seen a few stores that have them in

These are great quality. I've bought quite a bit of MUA makeup over the last few years; the guy who set up Makeup Revolution was an ex-MUA employee/MD and branched out on his own. These palettes get *even better* reviews than the MUA Urban Decay Naked and Naked 2 dupes, Undressed and Undressed 2.

Think I might buy a few Makeup Revolution bits and pieces when I need to stock up. Superdrug had their makeup on 3 for 2 recently.

Also, MUA is owned by FB Beauty, who also own Vivo (not sure if they're gone now), Famous By Sue Moxley (discontinued), Accessorize, Look Beauty, FashionistA (discontinued too, I think?) and probably a few others I've forgotten to add.

Edit: The swatches in the earlier quote are for Iconic 3, not Iconic 1.

As it's a dupe of UD's Naked, from reviews I've read of Iconic 1 it has a mix of matte and frosted shades.

Matte palette options here: http://www.superdrug.com/search?q=makeup+revolution+matte%3Aname-asc%3Acategory%3Apt_make_up_eye_shadow_palettes&text=makeup+revolution+matte&minSel=1.0&maxSel=5.0&minSlider=1.0&maxSlider=5.0&resultsForPage=20&categorypt_make_up_eye_shadow_palettes=on#

Not sure how they compare to the MUA matte palette, can't see comparisons out there. But the Iconic MUR palettes got rave reviews. http://ninasbargainbeauty.blogspot.co.uk/2013/09/mua-new-matte-palette.html

http://www.muastore.co.uk/matte-palette

To be honest, the reviews for the MUA mattes look more positive. Though some bloggers say that High Street mattes are difficult to do well.

I've had this exact palette for about 6 months and use it every day. I've also got an Urban Decal palette - obviously the quality is different, but the UD is only about 50% better but ten times the price. The Revolution palette is an absolute bargain, I love it and when it's empty (which will probably take years) I'll be quite to replace it!

I'll have a look in daylight tomorrow and get back to you as I can't remember off the top of my head and my eyesight is poor with the lights on

Here's a pic here of the Iconic 1 palette, close up. The blurb on the site says "A perfect mix of pearl, shimmer and matte shades."

I thought the alternate psi time angle of Urban Decay was that it is Vegan friendly - which obviously for some is something that it undeniably important.
I presume the 'copies' aren't vegan friendly?
but if you don't buy UD for that reason, these look a great substitute

**alternate positive angle

Those questions have been asked on here http://love-lipstick.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/makeup-revolution.html
(Reply from Makeup Revolution): "....we do not test, or any third party, test on animals. We do not claim to be Vegan Friendly - however you are right - most of our products are - the obvious ones aren't"

(From the blog article): "here is a list of the ones you will want to avoid if you're vegan, as they contain either beeswax or carmine. (When you're checking for these ingredients, as well as looking for beeswax and carmine, check for their chemical names which are "Cera Alba & "CI 75470" respectively.)

Makeup Revolution products that list beeswax or carmine in their ingredients list:
Awesome Eye Metals
The One Concealer
Lipstick: Glossy
Lipstick: Vamp Collection
Wanded Lipgloss
Cream Blusher
Eye Primer
Eye Dust (says =/- carmine so some shades may be ok, you'd have to email them to confirm)

So as you can see that's really not that many products out of a pretty huge catalogue. The mascaras appear vegan and liners and all the eyeshadow palettes, some of the lipsticks... Lots of choice!"

I don't know if these ingredients will be changed, may be best emailing them to be sure as the blog post is from April 2014 (MUR were launched in March).

I think it is a marketing ploy on the Makeup Revolution part, as they seem to be everywhere now. The UD palettes 1 and 2 were duped a couple of years ago by MUA and they are fantastic quality, and readily available in Superdrug stores.

I suppose it makes sense to put out cheaper copies of mega successful products, but yeah, I think they are trying to snatch MUA's customer base. Probably working, as I'm intrigued with them too!!

The only downside for me is that MUR don't sell loose powder. I'm mega pale and most loose powders go orange on me. I'll stick with my usual Coty Airspun or NYC Loose Powder :)

I find there is way too much fallout with the MUA
