you can get these cheaper at your local outlets...seen the superdry jackets that normally sell for £65 in highstreet stores, sell for £38 at bicester and cheshire outlets!

But I don't have a local outlet - so no good to me. Also no guarantee they'd have the line I want in the right size.

Just got one, cheers. Friend has one and it is nice, just not worth 65 quid!

Awaits flood of "chav" comments from the usual bully victims.

It's always the way though.

Brands start out high priced, those with money for fashion purchase the brand at the top level of the market. Other, such as "chavs" see those wearing the brand, and want to purchase. The brand becomes more popular and mainstream and as demand rises the price falls so inevitably more people purchase. Eventually, the brand is market wide and price comes down to levels the majority can afford. Then the next brand starts again.

Bench started out like this as have many more. Just what happens! If you can predict the next one, you'll make yourself a fair bob or two.

Used to like these jackets but EVERYONE has them now. Not voting but if I did I would vote cold. Purely because I don't think £41 is a good deal anymore. A year ago, this would have been hot.

Used to really like Bench.

Von Dutch went the same way (but quicker!) Hollister will be next, and then a bit later Abercrombie.

To be fair Bench quality went down hill rapidly, i had a pair of jeans that didnt last 5 months without holes appearing in them, very poor quality now (at least thier jeans), With Von Dutch the market was flooded with cheap rips off very quickly. Hopefully Superdry wont go downhill as i really like some of thier stuff especially trainers :)

because I am guessing he paid the cheaper price!!!??!?:?

Bought two different styles in large: the windcheater and the Jermyn trench. Both jackets are beautiful to look at, but I cannot get my head around their sizing.

I usually take a size M and have pretty standard dimensions, but I know that Superdry tends to be snug so I ordered both in large. Neither of them will even close around my torso, and yet both have sleeves which dangle a good 10cm beyond the end of my arms.

Both of them are going straight back, unfortunately. Shame, as they are both really nice pieces of kit.

I have quite a few bits of clothing from Superdry.
All are really well made with good quality fabric and stitching.

I too have to concerns that they are going for mass market and worry the product quality will get worse. I dont mind paying a few extra quid for a decent bit of clothing.

In the old days (pre designer togs for everyone) I bought a few pairs of jeans from the likes of Armani. They lasted for years. Now if I buy Armani it falls appart fairly quickly.

I said I liked it, just don't think it is worth 65 quid, but for £41 it's not a bad deal.
