13A at 240v is 3120W.

Computers won't pull the full PSU. rating most of the time, depends what you are doing.

If I read your comment correctly each pc will use just over 1kw. With 4 connected that will overload the 3.2kw unit.

Has each of your 4 PCs got 2 power supplies?

No free delivery for me at Robert Dyas - paying via paypal

Surge protectors on devices like this don't work, complete waste of time.

Thanks for the replies, I actually worded that incorrectly its 2 PC's one with a 550W PSU the other 500W +2 monitors (active upto 33W & 22W max) , a virgin superhub and maybe up to 3 external HDD's-not sure what the power draw of these are(not always ,but at least 2at any given time ) apologies for being a bit long winded ,not competent at all when it comes to these calculations
Thanks in advance

Nice but it's from aldi so would be concerned about whether it's safe.

Will avoid.

Just bought 3 from Robert days in store.

Bargain

The angled sockets on this type can be really useful if you have a number of wall warts that are wider than a standard plug. The Robert Dyas deal looks best.

That makes more sense ;) Cheddarman got me thinking that you had 4 high consumption PCs (1000 watts from one PC would likely be a tri-graphics card gaming beast and to have 4 in one room would be a tad unusual and possibly too much for one adapter!)

However, I agree that what you are now describing will be comfortably below 3000 watts.
