The Suzuki B King is one of the most powerfull streetbikes you can get, with 1340cc and 180BHP.
I've test rode this bike and the performance is blistering.
£2,000 off is a huge reduction and the free Micron cans are worth over £300

:w00t: HOW MUCH!!god thats a years food shopping at LIDL ...why not buy a bicycle?

Always get a good deal from George White Motorcycles, I use their prices to get a good price from my local dealer.

I didn't like the B King when I rode it, but I'm not saying it's a bad bike, it just didn't suit me. I'm still looking for a bike, a BMW K1300r is favourite. I'm trying to get a deal with a BMW dealer, the best deal is "List take it or leave it and your bike won't be delivered before May"

Good to see something totally different on the site. Voted hot. Lets encourage the big ones as well as the smaller everyday items.

Looks like a Transformer!!
Nice bike:thumbsup:

When i test rode this bike the performance blew me away. It has two switches on the dash, button A and button B.
Button A gives you the standard 140 BHP..... but press button B and it lets loose the full 180 gee gee's. The top speed has been restricted to 160 MPH due to the naked styling, but it can be deristricted and even more power can be enhanced with specialist tuning parts.
Totally impractical for distance riding, but mad as a box of frogs.

DEATH TRAP if you ask me, especially with all that power. I've seen about 3 or 4 motorists lying dead on the road and they were all motorcyclists. The bike looks nice though. Wouldn't mind riding it on my PC or PS3

Well I've been biking over 30 years and all my bikes have been over 100 BHP, yet I'm still here.
An inexperienced rider would never buy this, and definitely would never get insurance.

I bet they were all lying on the road next to a BMW or a Volvo with a big motorbike shaped dent in the side of it.

Quick question Jeff.

It's not icy or raining and its Sunday why are you not out on your bike!

Great price but not for me as don't have the concentration skills to keep me alive on a bike this powerful.

If I want to scare myself I go to Alton towers.:-D

Well it is about to rain down here in Somerset.... and all that salt thats still on the road kills the chrome on my cruiser.

Thanks, ordered 4. Hope its not a misprice and if so, hope they honour it.

Quite liked the look of it when I saw a picture of it, but didn't like it in the flesh ,

Felt the same about the MT01 when it came out

Will stick with me xjr1300

The only thing i hated about the looks were the pig ugly exhaust cans.... probably why George White are offering free Micron cans with it.
The Yammy XJR is a nice bike and never seems to date. Fowlers in Bristol were recently doing them for 5K brand new.

Nice to see something different instead of two tea towels for a pound at Aldi ect.. voted hot won't buy yet though ..I'll wait to see if they go on BOGOF.

despite riding since 16 (17 yrs ago) I still think I would only last about 10 minutes on this before I projected myself thru' soem immovable object, far too much power, not enought judgement / self-control. great post, bravo OP

Must.... resist... dipping.... in to....ISA. lol.

I don't even have a motorbike licence but I have always wanted to sit the test so I could get a bike in the near future. This one looks excellent. Great post.

dont t-t-t-tempt me Frodo....:?:?

When I used to ride I was involved with a publication and motorcycle website. I was at the launch of of this bike and got a short but very very sweet test ride.

I'm not a fan of naked bikes but this was just sublime! Riding position, performance (they wouldn't let most of us release all the horses) and just the whole package of this bike was just cracking. It's one of the very few bikes that when I've sat on it where the bike fits!

Now I just wish I had some money as I'd like a bike again

Well this is the picture on the Official Suzuki GB website and it looks identical to the one i road tested.

Bought 10. One for me, nine for the bay.

Good deal voted hot.
but please give the race exhaust a miss. You're not doing the image of bikers any good especially in this day and age. The irony is that the general public have ended up picking on race tracks as the easy target to quieten things down, so the exhaust probably becomes useless in all but Donnington's noise attack days.

Hot hot hot!

Monster bike - I seriously considered one of these or the new Hayabusa last autumn - but when it came down to it I'm still enjoying my Gsxr11w too much.

That's already fast enough (almost cost me my licence last year) and I expect the handling would be not too dissimilar.

"death trap"?

I've been riding for over 30yrs and I can honestly say that every time
(except for one occason when I went into the back of an emergency stopping car, at slow speed, in the wet)
I have ever hit another vehicle it was a classic "oh sorry mate, I didn't see you" myopic car driver.

Nowadays I drive a car too myself (so I know it's not always easy) but the point is almost always about better active observation, it is not that the bike is inherently dangerous.
(and I can't stand car drivers driving far too close to each other whatever the conditions - my other little hobby-horse, but at least on a decent bike you can avoid that ****) .

The shame of it is that unlike in Europe (or even the UK 30 or 40yrs back) most people no longer start off on 2 wheels.
Once you have begun your time on the road on 2 wheels you build in a better sense of awareness - especially if it might be your own kids riding the bike(s).

The cost of dying has gone down then.
No offence intended but this sort of bike is even more lethal than the average motorcycle.

I put loud exhausts on all my bikes, standard exhausts strangle the engine power and make the bike sound tinny, whereas a race exhaust gives a bassier deeper sound.
But the main reason is that loud pipes stop miopic car drivers pulling out on you.
If anyone is going to be stupid enough to rev the ass off their engine when in a built up area or a housing estate then they will do it anyway with standard cans that can also be noisy at the top of the rev range.
And anyway.... These Micron cans are road legal.
