Yeah it's never been worth any more than the current sale price so isn't a deal! Anybody that paid £349.99 should be sectioned

check out the Haier deal. Slightly smaller but cheaper & 2 year warranty.

Is it not a good machine? To be honest I'm a bit lost with what I should be looking for.

Get the best you can afford. What's your budget?

I'd say £350, but I could stretch to a bit more if it meant a much better machine.

I was also looking at the deal posted for the Samsung from John Lewis. It's got a good review from Which?:

Got to agree with the first poster, this isn't a £350 machine

Agreed. Please don't parrot "was" prices in the deal description - they mean nothing.

Cheers. I've decided to pay more and go for the Samsung deal I linked to above.

I wouldn't touch it.
Washing machines vary in quality and my last Bosch cost as much as this and was far superior. I sold both my Bosch's, the first after five years, when I moved, and it was as good as new. A Miele will cost you three times as much but Miele build their machines to last for 20 years. My experience with Bosch machines was far better than with brands like Candy, Hotpoint, Beko etc. and if you shop around can be had for the same price.
