Looks like online only at the mo as new stock. None in my local stores.

Good price though.

Sorry for the noob questions guys.

1. I assume you need one of these at the 'Router' end and one at the 'other' end ie in another room?

2. If that is the case, does this 'kit' include 2 devices?

3. Is this all that would be needed ie would I need to purchase anything else to use them?

4. Finally, can these be used for connecting my son's PS3 to the WiFi network in the house? We have a router but Sky have just replaced my old Router with a D-Link one. It has no Aerial and the signal has dropped considerably in the room he has the PS3. If they can be used, would he connect to the device wirelessly or does he need to connect to it with an Ethernet Cable?

Thank you in advance.

Yes you do need one at each end of the connection. The advert says "twin set of Powerline adaptors" so sounds like a pair for the price.

These usually are wired to the destination device by ethernet cable and that connection is shown in the photo.

No idea whether it would work with a PS3 - others will know.

@ belly, so being 200Mbps I assume these would be even better/faster?

Not realy. It depends on you Internet. I only bought the 85mbps cos it worked out at £75 ish for 3 about a year and a half ago and it was £80/90 for the 200mbps for two. So I am v happy with my conection with the ones I got. I get 3 / 4 green bars on conection on xbox live depends on the host. But if I play on an American server I go down to 2 yellow. But it's not the plugs it's the servers. Hope this helps. You won't be disapointed in any you get any . I also got one for the pc so there are no cables going around the house it's just on the ring main

It would make no difference to your internet speed as that's going to be 50Mbps at the very most in this country so no throttling even on 85Mbps adapter, but it will make difference if you want to stream any video across your own network, say from your PC to your PS3. Also, obviously, file transfers will be faster.
In a nutshell, if you only need them to access the internet on your PS3 via your home network, then it makes little difference whether you go for 85 or 200Mbps adapters, but if you want to connect the PS3 to PCs,Macs or NAS drives on your network as well then the 200Mbps iwill make a significant difference
