Just use chopsticks to eat with do you?

This is more of a toolkit than a simple knife and more knife crime is carried out with the kind of simple household knives in your kitchen drawer than anything else.

I suppose you like to see frying pans and cricket bats banned as well due to the risk of these being used as a weapon

Do you ever have anything useful to say?
#6
No to the cold knife ?

What about a warm gun ?

The Swiss have always been neutral.Tara will no doubt tell us next that they have a wonderful navy though!
#8
very useful tools these, got a couple, really handy when gardening or doing diy.

I may be old but I can still give them the old cold steel, and they don't like it up'em, you know, they do not like it.

Sorry but the "knife" on this item is really not that bad. A good angle on the blade might do some serious damage but this knife is really not that sharp. A Pocket knife or fixed hunting knife is much more dangerous and even that is in the wrong hands.Anyway this is a knife :viking:

Once again I have voted hot to counteract the idiot mentality who think this site is a forum for their socio-political views. Just to quantify my response. I also happen to think it is a good deal for a quality product.....this is after all a site for voting on the quality of a deal.

There is many a builder, farm worker, carpenter, lorry driver, groundsperson or any number of hobbiests who would find this an extremely beneficial tool.

By the way I have just used my Swiss Army knife that I have had for over 20 years to open my bottle of Magners. Cheers..........................now where did I put my kalashnikov? :whistling:

+ 1 for you sir and some rep.
This has my heat as well. Hot deal.

I carry a knife on me every day on my Leatherman, i also have a smaller utility blade on my keys for when i don't have my Leatherman on me
Not for protection, not as a weapon, because it is a tool, a very useful tool, a tool i use a lot.

Morons subscribe to the knives are bad script. Just because youths carry them to look dangerous, threaten and cause injury doesn't mean that knives are bad at all. Whilst people are at it.. cars are bad aswell never drive a car. all cars kill people. Fact.

Here we go, wondered when the anti-knife lobby would come out of the woodwork. . . Wouldnt be my first choice of deadly weapon, unless I wanted to pluck his eyebrows to death, or pick his teeth to death maybe. . . .

Get a grip on reality, its a freaking tool ffs.

i agree with this guy.

It's OK as a discount but I'd never spend £20 let alone £36 on a penknife when cheap versions are around for about £2? Is this officially supplied to the Swiss army or something? I have a British army equivalent and it has just a decent steel blade and a tin-opener and I use it often!
Who has EVER used the tools like "Reamer punch, sewing eye, chisel?" on these things?
The only thing I ever found them useful for is the scissors when you can't find your actual scissors.

Voting cold because it's a knife is obviously ridiculous. If you are against knfe crime you should encourage this puny blade - far less potentially deadly than a standard kitchen knife found in every home or broken botle in a pub unless you really want to ream punch or corkscrew someones eyes out! The thug would have to slowly select the right blade and likely get the corkscrew!

Thanks my sentiment also, there are soooo many pedeants on this site. HOT

It's coming up at £28 now anyway.

£20 was a good price for them though - a very nice quality tool.

1. You've spelled pedant wrong.
2. There may well be a lot of pedants on this site but this thread hasn't seen one pedantic comment yet; ill considered, yes, downright silly, yes, pedantic, no.

Anyway, pedantry aside, this is quite a warm deal. I've owned a couple of these murderous weapons for more than 20 years and they are superb quality.

Although this is showing as an expired deal as far as I can tell its still £19.99 delivered if you look in the "more buying choices" section on the far right of the Amazon page.

Handy bit of kit I am sure, personally I prefer the Leatherman/Gerber type of multi-tool, for the money though this is tempting.

I refuse to enter into a battle of wits with you. It is against my principles to attack an unarmed person.

+1 This should be unexpired. Show's £28.99 on main page, but link to £19.99 direct from Amazon on the right hand side.

I've had one of these genuine Swiss Army knives since for over 10 years, I got one when I first visited Switzerland. It's withstood an huge amount of beatings, bashings and even been burnt a few times! Still works like a charm. Sooo handy. Hot.

Isn't it ironic that your post complaining of the posters use of the word pedantic out of context, and the lack of pedantic comments on the thread, IS INDEED PEDANTIC . . . . ;-)

Beautifully ironic. I assumed it would be so obvious as to negate the need to point it out.
