I looked at this yesterday & initially seemed a bargain.

Seems to be the same price almost everywhere else with some places listing the actual RRP as £9.99.

Swissgear are not normally this cheap- I'm confused (easily done though).

Looks cheap to me... Play.com have other colours varying between £14.99 to £40 :)

I got one from big pockets, similar, and used it as my main bag for a long haul holiday, lap top intact.

Great bag, and good deal.

I got one of these and agree that it's great - loads of room in the bag for things other than the laptop, and the straps are really wide and comfortable.

I bought one of these last time they were reduced, excellent bag, with loads of room, and looks good as well

Saw one at a shop in London. Brand name instantly suggests quality but it has a really flimsy quality. Feels cheap and like it wont last long.

I say stick to quality brands like Lowepro, you get what you pay for.

I'd tend to disagree; I haven't used mine enough to assess durability, but it feels really sturdy and well-made. I have several Lowepro bags and usually love them, but one I got recently has started to split at the top, so it happens even with more expensive brands!

How well is the laptop area padded? The same sort of standard as the average laptop cases?

These are tempting for the odd occasion :-)

Totally agree, see my review on play.com.

Worth a tenner though !!

targus for me :p but might get one for my better halt as she could do with a backpack

when transporting my laptop around i put it in a 13" laptop sleeve then that into a 15" one, this is for 2 reasons 1st to keep it safe and 2nd to stop it moving around in my bag :p (laptops 13" bags for 15" )

so if you are worried about your laptop not getting enough protection a sleeve as well might be the way to go

I have a Swissgear bag a bit like this, even though I don't have a laptop. It's great quality.

Got one of these for my wife. It's fantastic and really well made. Takes the laptop fine with decent padding, and loads of space for books etc.

Very good price.

It was either this or the UDG Creator Serato backpack, figured I'd give this and a bit of foam a go
