I did it about 1 hour ago and it has tracked already.

I did this a couple of weeks ago when it was £100 for dual fuel.
It tracked but said £62.

This happened to anyone else?

Did this about a month ago. Tracked at £100 (after a day or so).
As far as the fuel switch goes. SP are a bit slow in sending acknowledgment/details. I only got an acknowledgment email after 2 weeks, and a letter after 3 - stating the switchover will take approximately 6 weeks.

Yeah, same thing happened to me. I emailed them and they said it should change to £100 once validated.

Not sure this is a deal though, surely it is just quidco?

thanks for the help

Lukewarm from me.

First of all, Quidco deals arent allowed on this site when they are exclusively Quidco - apart from anything else, they cannot be guaranteed.

Secondly, and more importantly, you should take Quidco into consideration only, not your only factor, when deciding who to switch to - if SP arent the cheapest provider for your usage, then over a period of time switching to SP purely on the basis of £100 cashback will be more costly.
#10
Lots of the SP tariffs have lock in clauses and/or fees to switch away - if you are a serial cashback switcher go for the more expensive standard tariff - hopefully in a few low use spring / summer months till it validates the cashback will far outweigh any extra fuel costs.

they are the cheapest on a couple comparison places, i was with them when i rented, i got £62 for having them as my supplier.

i bought my house and went with them 6 months later, they cancelled my account as it was for a different address and i went through quidco again to change from the old house woners supplier to them.

i will have got £180 in 8 months from scottish power, not bad.

good timing...need to get shot of npower. thanks

i went through quidco tracked then got declined - to raise a ticket i need the account number which they havent sent me yet - im not sure what to do - £32 tracked (single fuel) but has been declined - i have the confir, ation email and letter to say they will do the swtich over and they have given me a ref number but the ticket wants a 10 digit number or something like that
has any one else had some success???

£45 a year more expensive than BG (who are putting their prices down again from the 1st June)

EXIT PENALTIES MAY APPLY (cannot find details of this on their site)

wont bother with this as not worth the hassle or even potential loss should quidco fail.
#16
Checked this, the exit penalties are £30 to £40 if you leave early, make your own mind up whether its worth it.

Also, all the energy companies will reduce their prices now British Gas have.
So not worth comparing till the rest have followed suit, BG usually more expensive when its a 'level playing field'
