Does anyone know if a micro heli exists that does forwards/back/left/right and strafe left/right too? I've got a Syma heli and it's so much fun I just wish it could strage too.
#8
According to the youtube, this does do that.

Oh does it? I can't access youtube at the moment but I will save the page to watch later, thanks.

Edit: Just managed to watch part of the video and I don't think it does do it actually. I think what I want is a 4 channel helicopter but a quick google puts their price at being more like £50 :-(

Hmmmm, I would have given my left nut for an RC Plane or Heli when I was a kid. Now we buy them on a whim. Hard life isn't it, lol.

bought 1 with my mate last year for about 28 quid, good laugh but the fun dont last to long, worth the cash though just a pain in the ass charging it after 4 minutes, still it does charge quick but it loses its fun.

The silverlit z-century is 4-channel. Had one on order from play but gave up because they didn't seem to get stock.

Silverlit stuff's ok but my friends have a few syma single rotor micro helicopters and they're really nicely built compared to the silverlit polystyrene.

The apache certainly looks more 'awesome'. Whilst the stats are the same, with it having half the propellers - it could run for longer? But then there could be twice as powerful a battery in the Chinook!
#26
which one to buy ? i cant decide
#27
ok guys i went for the chinook because of this: found on amazon

All the single propellor versions are quite hard to control and are not very realistic.

This version with its double propellors is unbelievably realistic. If you include the trim and leverage control, there are 10 different functions this mini helicopter performs. It is just like flying a real helicopter, real skill is required.

I got my B-I-L the Apache for Christmas - he has had previous models but this is by far the most controllable. Even I can control it and I'm pretty ham-fisted!

is it as good as the s107G model
#31
These are great fun. My dad has got one and I have a usb rocket launcher so bit of target practice. We are both huge kids.
#32
Got one of these at Xmas, good fun, and seemingly indestructible
(I've dive bombed it from height into the edge of the stove umpteen times, not a scratch. Yet) :)
#33
have got this one and lots of others, helped me through the long winter nights, great fun, the dog hates it. lol

Hope you can use rechargeables in the handset, or you'll soon end up spending more on batteries than you did on the helicopter in the first place...
