  Hot hot hot , bought one of these last year for my son ( kind of for him but more me !!) for £25 , having had a fair few of the other kinds didn't hold out much hope , but it's brilliant , very very stable in flight and the flashing LEDs look good too . Bargain at this price .

  Yup - these are fab. Up, down, forwards, backwards, pivot left and right. Really stable. I've had two other small helis before these syma ones which were just frustratingly impossible to control. Thoroughly recommend for 12!

  This isn't the most exciting small Syma, it goes incredibly slow forward. It's also quite sensitive on the throttle, so may take a while for beginners to get used to.

  Syma do make radio controlled helicopters - I've got one - but as the previous poster says, the specs on this one say infra-red. So the Amazon Seller's description is wrong, and therefore the OP's description is also wrong.

  Can someone say if this model: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Syma-S107G-Built-Gyroscope-Yellow/dp/B0053SL0ZI/ref=pd_sim_k_h_b_cs_3 would be better, or is it exactly the same apart from the design? It seems to be 'improved' as well? Also, what about spares for both?
