It looks a little overpriced at £200 ???

Bought one of the £30 BBQ's in Asda for £15; could not justify paying £75 for an outdoor cooker!

agreed but look at the price of weber bbq's looked @ a £600 one ....i wasnt impressed with the build, felt no better or even worse than some cheap ones....tbh its not worth buying a decent bbq in this country...though i certainly would in a hot country
#4
i think it way overpriced in the first place

Just about to say the same about the £15 twin burner BBQ at Asda.
For the amount of chances we get to use one in this country with our weather, the Asda one is a no brainer!.

Hang on a minute folks! I thought a BBQ is where you set fire to some charcoal, have a beer and then start the cooking! These gas powered efforts are just an outside grill and surely will never taste the same!

You can't be flash if your using gas!

As I said at a party at the weekend! Just an outside grill for impatient lazy people!!!!'

Looks quality, but summer's half over, and frankly, £75 isn't "cheap" even for a quality item like this.

Forget the £200 price tag , look at the £75, will be £50 next month.
But do we need a BBQ now?
#9
just seen it at wilks for £59 real bargain

I'm no expert, but isn't it the fat and juice splashing on the coals that produce the smoke and therefore the flavour? I think the benefit of gas, is no warm up time, more even and controllable heat. I've used weber coal BBQs, best briquettes by far are Aussie Heat Beads. But I do fancy trying a gas BBQ.Our crap weather, and cleaning the things is what puts me off.
