  I would be wary of T-cut in the wrong hands, especially if your car has soft paint. It's one of the harshest compounds for car paintwork on the market. This product isn't wax, it's a polish (and probably a hard one at that). According to the description it contains mild abrasives, so in that sense it is a bit deceiving. Waxes are generally above the £20 mark.
  
  Best and probably cheapest product range is Autoglym. Excellent for entry-level detaillers.

  spotted this last week, decided against it when it says abrashive, not really a polish/wax. Would be ok on old faded paintwork.

  Tesco are selling all their 3M Car products at low prices - ranging from £1.41 upwards. Not sure on the quality of results but for a little over a pound its worth a go. Pretty sure this is national as nearly all stores in Glasgow area are displaying this.
