isnt this a costly deal for a 18 month contract ? should be for 12 months contract ?

405 quid is a lot of money or is it me who is seeing things ?
#2
this is a very good deal taking into consideration the free phone, minutes and texts. you would be hard done to find another contract like this (unless of course "cashback". Grab it while it lasts!
#3
£40 quidco cashback makes it £20.27/mth
#4
can u transfer you old no (PAC code ) ?
#5
yep absolutely, i think there is an option where you got to put it in when ordering

I took their flext £35 deal last year and picked up an N95 with it for £40. Given the probable price reductions in the N95 (yes, I know they also released an updated model, but still) I would have thought it would be available free by now with this tariff.

It would also be worth waiting until mid july when the new 3G Iphone is released as it's taking a big price cut and should stir things up quite a bit on the tariff front from other operators!

Doubt it...the iPhone is a very small percentage of the market, only affects O2, and is to do with phone price not tariff price.

This deal is absolutely scorching hot - I have been on this contract for 2 years, and it was very hot at £35 (as I was orignally paying). One of my friends works for T-Mobile, and as such I get very cheap contracts - and this very nearly hits the same price I'm paying.

Doubt there'll be a better tariff around for a long time....

Cash off your rental charge or cash towards a much higher value phone.

I thnk it's great that they're giving the customer the option, but don't be fooled into thinking it's free money. What they were giving in the form of a subsidised phone is being traded for a subsidised monthly charge.

If you would much rather have a higher spec phone and may a little more for rental then this deal isn't for you.

T-Mobile were already going £5 of line rentals on all of their contracts..this means that when compared to that, the cash back in reduced rental over 18 months amounts to £135 = (£7.50 * 18)..which is roughly the difference in price between some of the higher spec phones this contract would normaly entitle you to and the ones being offered on the reduced rental contract.

Phone price is normally accomodated in the tariff price, and as the iphone is about to take a £100 price drop (allegedly), then tariffs should come down or the iphone should be available in cheaper tariffs etc. Other operators will have to compete and will drop prices accordingly. IMO T-Mobile are running a promotion now to try and get people tied into a contract before the iphone suddenly makes an appearance on O2's lower priced tariffs next month.

Very good deal with UK customer service

Looks decent, but I got a deal direct with Orange as a new customer for £25pm, 800 minutes XNet, unlimited landline and 100 texts and Nokia 6500 Slide for free, 18 month contract.

But it does depend on what you need, some people use texts a lot more.

Have FLEX contract and the only thing i had issues with is the cost per call and text. Ok you get twice as many calls as you pay for, BUT the price per call is expensive. Haven't checked for a while so cannot say this is 100% still. I know Virgin used to be 10p per call and my t-mobile on flex was 20p.
Uk call center, ok but totally unhelpful and bloody ignorant when my phone packed up for the 6th time in 9 months, told me it would be sent back to sony and no replacement would be offered, expected turnaround 4-6 week. I asked if I would be re reimbursed or not billed for this time. They said I would get my sim back and could buy a pay as you go from them or a cheap one and get it unlocked while I waited.
Can't wait till November and my contract is up, and I am leaving T-Mobile.
