Pretty ugly looking. Only 2MP camera, no GPS. Better phones out there for the money I think

Well its a really popular phone so.....
#4
cold not worth the money ...

Cheap for an entry level BB, not as good as it's older brothers but still decent for those who want to step in to the world of push emails, BBM etc.
#6
Its a decent looking phone but feels like a toy in your hand...and the trackpad is kinda hard to use if you have sweaty hands loool

ordered one of these this morning for my teenage daughter. don't forget this is a 48 hour offer only.
I like BB have a storm2 so thought this was a good starter one for my daughter and 6 months free net is helpful as she can mail me instead of spending money on texts and calls. then its only £20 every 6 months for net anyway.

Just got off the phone with T-Mobile for the same reason. Apparently all their systems have been down since yesterday and currently still are and as such none of the orders have been fully processed or dispatched. The lady I spoke with confirmed that they had plenty of stock of the 8520 and that even if their systems don't come back online until the offer has ended anyone who placed an order in time will have the lower price honoured.

Hope that makes sense / helps!

Compared to phones in this price range it's a cracking phone and compared to phones twice as much it's a good phone.

Really nice tracking pad and very easy to use. Only con for me is battery life not that great.

Can't think of any phone better for around £110 mark. I use the iPhone 4 my sister recently purchased this and at this price it is a bargain. Much better than the lg optimus android which sells for £100 ish. Also I think the quality of the trackpad is fantastic, its deffo a better blackberry than the 8320 and very similar to the 8900 model. You won't be disappointed at this price!

Hi I had to ring them this morning too as they had had a prob with my card (god knows what as just abused it and is workign fine)
Guy I spoke to said I will have it by 1pm tomorrow. Better news is as its a Christmas present the 6 month free net won't start until Christmas day when my daughter puts her sim in. I will check it out tomorrow using mine.
Sorry for delay in reply but been out fior lunch and retail therapy lol

quidco £5. not £11 as advertised.

quidco £5. not £11 as advertised.

Quidco was definately £11 yesterday as this exact deal was advertised on their site. However it looks like mine hasn't tracked :(

With regards the order & dispatch confirmation I have now had my order confirmed so their systems mumust be back up (I got the email around 11 am).

Brilliant price for a good entry-level Blackberry as stated, a business phone is not going to appeal to all but as stated these are not too far away from the 8900 for a fraction of the price.
#22
I ordered yesterday and had a dispatch email today. TCB said £10 but tracked at £5, now showing £11.
#23
Just been on the phone to T Mobile, works out quite expensive after the 6 month free period, £10 per month for free sms, £5 per month for BBM and £20 every 6 month for the internet, so that is £220 per year +£112 for the phone, £332 for the 1st year, cheaper to get it on contract

+1 - The extra £5 a month for BB stuff (which you'll need for internet apps) is stupid

I used to have this phone, and it may have been a faulty batch but 5 of these they gave me had a stuck pixel. Make sure you check the screen in a dark setting, they pretended like they didn't see them.

Just recieved my daughters and it says that BBmail and internet is £5 per month or £20 for six months. So there is no additional £5 per month. My daughter won't use £10 worth of texts every month so this works out loads cheaper than the contract she currently has with Vodafone

quidco now tracking at £11.
