The lady I've spoken to offered a few handsets. One that caught my attention was the X10 mini pro (This is suppose to be limit they'll go).

Other handsets that they have available:
- SE X8
- SE Vivaz

and few other ones I don't remember.

The contract length is 24months.

What I've done:

- Told the lady I'm on an different company, dirt cheap
- Mentioned about the £5 + handset deal for upgrades, ask if it's possible to get that on a new contract
- got told no, I asked her again what deal will she do for a new contract.
- Got offered an X10 mini pro and the contract condition mentioned above.

It's probably worthwhile calling again later on. You'll probably get a different outcome with a different sales person

#3
just rang them and they won't honour this
they are saying £15.32 a month minimum on this.
i've rang twice now and they say the lowest contract they can ever offer is £10 a month

It's not unlimited internet.

There is a allowance for streaming videos, music and uploading and downloading files. If you hit this limit during the month, you won't be able to do this stuff again until the next month. Browsing however is unlimited.

If you wanted unlimited go with Three (which even includes tethering!), GiffGaff (No tethering) or Tesco Mobile(No tethering).

Off topic, but the whole tethering thing is going to be an interesting discussion if more deivces along the lines of the Atrix come along...
