AS a T-Mobile exiting customers i was offered free dongle and unlimited broadband for 10 quid per month. but i don't really need mobile broadband so i did not take offer. it might be useful for someone. i did not ask about length of contract i assume i probably will be 18 months. unlimited is the key and for tenner i don't think it is a bad deal.

Is it really "Unlimited" though? fixed line broadband even isn't truly unlimited so how can mobile broadband be?

The offer is here: HERE

Mobile Broadband Plus

* £10 a month for first 3 months, then
£15 a month after that
* Unlimited browsing
* 3GB fair use policy
* 18 month plan

Fair usage policy tho! So it brings it back to a crappy fixed limit........

no the OP said £10 a month as an existing customer, not £10 then £15

i was told '£10 a month and UNLIMITED' nothing like for fist 3 months..
if you are a customer i suppose one can always ask!
like a said in original posting i was not really interested so i did not go in to details..oh he did say this was only for 'exiting' customers....

Oh, £10 a month! I was thought it would be too hot to be true if it was just £10 for the dongle then unlimited internet.

I get £5 per month from 3 - 12 month contract plus modem aswell, 1GB limit which is perfect as I don't use it much.

It would have been cheaper to get the Satio deal they had and get unlimited internet on that instead.

I picked up one of their Pre Pay 12 months unlimited dongles for around £60 after seeing it posted on here :thumbsup:
Once you reach your monthly limit, 2GB on pre-pay, you can't download between 4pm-Midnight, you can still browse during this time though. At all other times you can still use it unrestricted. Some months I go over 15GB and have yet to be stopped downloading outside of the peak times mentioned.
Reception obviously varies from place to place, but it's fine in most locations around me.
Well worth seeing if you can find the 12month prepay ones, as for most people it should work out cheaper, looks like I'll be paying well under 50p per GB for the year :-D

Perhaps you should read the post above yours, there is a difference between browsing and downloading

Exactly !

I only put that deal up because its the same deal the OP was offered, be it at the fixed £10.

I think that the advisor may be confusing things with unlimited browsing and didnt mention the Fair Usage Policy.

But browsing will still "download" images etc.....

What about youtube etc?

I just got rid of my T-Mobile phone contract.....that was £4 per MB to download!!

Yes....£4 per MB, I will say it again £4 per MB! I'm now on Asda PAYG that charges 20p per MB.

In comparison this seems like a decent deal but I can't vote hot because I dislike T-Mobile.

i was offered this just yesterday
i can confirm its 24 months

Why did you not just take the 1Gb Internet add on for £5 a month?
