  I'm using mine in my iPad 1 have done for the last 2 months just registered it in my iPhone then put it in my iPad :-)

  What speed connection will you get with this? Only ask as I have a 12month Sim only phone contract with T-Mobile with 'free internet' but it is throttled to 384mbps (what they claim to be 3G speed). i.e. not HDSPA speeds.

  From the IMEI numbers logged in use, whether they ask for them or not, as iPhones are within a particular range. When O2 had a similar offer the other year and their sims were being flogged on eBay quite a few found them deactivated all of a sudden.
  So far, it seems that tmobile is not actively monitoring this and mine is being used in a 3G dongle, but things may change.
  
  I was also told in store that the internet bolt on would be activated automatically, but the reality is that you need to ring up and get this switched on otherwise you will find your top up vanishing at a £1 a day for data.

  Well I got one months ago, put it in me iPad 2, added @TMobileUKhelp on twitter and they activated it for me, they were a great help.
