Not that good of a phone and no android update on this hand set...might as well wait for the pulse mini at £99 with latest hardware and software.

This is the pulse mini, however need to use those darn code to get this price

Please say in title that it’s for new customers only using a voucher code otherwise it’s a BS deal.

Enter this code for £30 off a £60 spend, for new customers only.

Still a great phone for 100 quid. I've got a HTC Desire, but 100 quid for an android 2.1 phone?! Sweet.

i got this phone on a cheap tmo contract on saturday and i completely love it...at this price, it may as well be free.

This is intriguing. A few questions, if anyone can help:

1) Isn't this a bit under-specced for 2.1? Does it run like a dog, or what?
2) What is the 'Epson printers fiasco'? I'm genuinely interested in this phone, but if the company are risky, I would probably pay the extra thirty to go elsewhere for it.

The phone is available direct from t-mobile with 6m free internet

The very site shows the t mobile pulse mini... for £99. It is better than the t mobile deal if it comes with free internet ( I suspect it might ) and you don't need to buy a £10 top up (£5 is enough to activate the deal).

So hot for me !

Can I unlock this and use it on my Vodafone contract?
#16
It is a Huawai U8110 so there will be an unlock. Maybe not on day one but you will sooner or later. This is an awesome spec for the money. Not an HTC desire sure but for £99 with 6m internet then you would be hard pressed to better this one....

To confirm..

Bought this last week.
They chased me to confirm my details - very straight forward name/dob confirmation, etc.
They processed the order right away (even decided to give me free delivery).
Item showed as out of stock until Sunday.
Item arrived today.

Very pleased - and to confirm, it has gps.

So I ordered this, confirmed the total as £72.95 when I pressed place order, now they've charged me £102.95. Nice. Sent complaint and told it'll take 48 hours for them to reply.
Avoid.

Provided that you are eligible for the voucher, you will get charged the lower amount - the reason they authorise the 102 is so that they can take up to (but potentially less, i.e. the 72) that amount when your card is actually charged

Found this in their help section:
'How is my discount applied if I pay by credit or debit card?
If you use a cash discount promotion, such as £10 off, and you pay for your order with a credit or debit card, then we will process your payment in two stages. First we will charge your card with the full price of the order then we will refund your card with the value of the discount.'

Even if that is the case I'm not exactly happy about a company giving me one amount on the order confirmation screen, and then taking a higher amount from my bank account.

agreed but they did that (and applied the refund) for me so as long as you are eligible it should be ok...

An update on mine, Very messed up the order and cancelled it without notifying me. Several emails back and forth over 24 hours they decided that the department I had to deal with didn't have email access (wtf?) and I had to ring them. I then got through to some horrific call centre that deals with a multitude of companies including Littlewoods and Very, until they decided that they'd cancelled the order but kept the funds on hold from my bank account because I hadn't lived at my current address long enough (Even though Im now 21 years old and have lived there my whole life.) and were waiting for me to ring them, even though they hadn't emailed or called to tell me my order was on hold.
Yeah so, avoid Very. It sucks.
