********* Update Now Back in Stock ****************

Just been looking for a cheap Android and saw this on offer last week. Down from £39 to £29. Now today it's a crazy £19.99 (plus I had to buy £10 top up. But it does have 6 month net access. So the missus will be chuffed she can have a phone with lots of apps.

Buy before it's out of stock.

Plus I went via Quidco for a £5 cash back.

Updated 23/6 Thanks to Far who spotted this back in stock. Great news. And also the Black is in stock. Same deal as before.

For the black pulse. Go to the main page and add to basket.

Gutted that I paid £39.99 a month ago and it was £10 cheaper a week later.

Thanks for the informaiton. I am interested in the phone. Is it locked to T-Mobile? If so, can it be unlocked and how much it would cost? Thanks for your help.

It will be locked. It can be unlocked for 10 Euro using DC Unlocker. I had a quick look on Modaco & although there are a couple of 2.2 ROMs, they seem to be quite buggy.

Ordered. Hope T-Mobile will honour this. I nominally bought it for the wife's up and coming birthday (even though I know she would prefer clothes, jewellry, etc). In the event that she doesn't like it, I already have the T-Mobile pulse and can use the SIM card for it's 6 months free internet.

Had a quick look as I wanted a second phone to my giffgaff sim, looks pretty ok only thing is to get free minutes and Internet, it looks as if you need to top up by £10 each month, I use £10 or less a year so only the first month for me

Nope - it says:

Six months free Internet on selected phones

Join T-Mobile with one of a range of selected pay as you go smartphones and get 6 months of free internet on your phone.

You’ll need to activate your free internet by following the instructions we’ll send to your phone.. We’ll then send you a text to let you know that 6 months has begun. We’ll also let you know when your 6 months free internet on your phone runs out.

If your phone is always connected to the internet, once your free Booster has run out you’ll then automatically be charged up to £1 a day to browse the internet unless you buy one of our 30 day or 6 month Boosters. See the legal stuff and fair use policy at http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/fup.

You’ll need internet coverage, check it at t-mobile.co.uk/streetcheck. Remember that you can only use internet on your phone in the UK and you can’t use your phone as a modem or use internet on your phone for peer to peer file sharing, or making internet phone calls.

This booster comes with a fair use policy of 500MB per calendar month. We’ll monitor how much you send and receive each calendar month so that we can protect our network for all our customers. If you use more than your fair use policy amount, we won’t charge you any more, but we may restrict how you can use internet on your phone. We may withdraw this offer at any time.

Free internet worth £20 is based on our price for a six month internet on your phone Booster

They are still showing as in stock too!

My T-Mobile Pulse runs Skype fine so i'm assuming the Pulse Mini will too. With 6 months internet access, I'm assuming that I can Skype the wife free, gratis and for nothing until the internet runs out. Now all I have to do is think of something to say to her...

Just ordered through quidco and waiting to see what happens, and finally porting out of tesco yay!
#22
6 months free internet is a good deal I bought one at this price last year, obviously different phone though.

Glad I got my order going before gabbing here again.

Ordered 6 minutes ago. Nothing other than an instant acknowledgement in my in box. Should make a decent free mp3 player/wireless gubbin.

Internet allowance was 1Gb per month last year, recently went to 500Mb, don't know if they backed down on that unpopular though. Orange offer a meagre 250Mb but Three are tending towards 2 or 3Gb deals. All different prices of course.

So this is android 2.1. Any good for tethering?

Thanks even if I don't get the extra I think it's a great price for the phone and I'll still have the £10 credit as well as phone that won't run out of battery every two days ( it will be on standby)

I bought this in black same deal but £40 2 weeks ago.
The phone itself has a terrible onscreen keyboard. Is no really slow but depending on how many apps you have open can get laggy. The screen at the top cracked a little when my girlfriend sat on my and the phone was in my butt pocket ... So the screen is kinda week seeing as my iphone has never broken. The camera is passable . But for the 6 month free internet it is worth it but you cannot tether it to use the internet from this phone on you iphone etc.

Thanks patti, I got special delivery last year as well.

Can I plug the phone into a USB port to top up its battery?

A friend of mine ordered this pretty much as soon as it went live this morning and received an e-mail saying that they were out of stock - so don't hold your breath!

I ordered T-mobile pulse mini (black) last week. The prcie was £23.99 with £10 topup (£5 cashback tracked) What I received was Mobile set, PNY 2GB microSD card, £9.something balance (not £10 balance), 6 month internet free, 100 free calling minutes will be added next month (whenever you topup £10 you get the reward). Handset was faulty - got the replacement after contacting the customer service.

I talked to my daughter who lives in Prague from St Lucia using the Skype app on my T-Mobile Pulse. Admittedly this was through a wi-fi signal I managed to pick up at the hotel I was staying at rather than T-Mobile's 3G network but I can assure you it did work.
