T-Mobile retentions, 250 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited Internet and a free phone. £7.50/m

Don't know if this is a good deal, I personally think it is. It would only be for those looking to leave T-Mobile.

Saw an offer in Tesco for a contract for £7.50 a month which gave me 250 mins, 5000 text and 500 mb on Internet with some low end Sony Erricson phone. As my contract was ending soon this perked my interest as I was just looking for a sim only deal, but this came with a phone I could just sell.

Phone T-Mobile to ask for my PAC number and they asked why and what offer I had seen. She put me on hold for 2 mins and came back with 250 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited Internet and a free phone for £7.50 a month. I was offered some low end Android phone or a Nokia C2. Before this I was a £10 a month customer so I'm not a high spender to them or anything.

Forgot to ask about contract length, but I can safely assume it's a 24 month contract. But at £7.50 a month I'm not bothered. I always go sim free anyway, I'll sell the Nokia C2 when I get it.

You may have more minutes but no free phone. It's about even in my eyes.

id rather have the minutes so it is each to their own i guess. But my thoughts are going over my minutes will cost me more than £50 a year that i would make from selling a low end phone thats why i dont think its that great a deal as its due to personal usage :)

I clearly state it's retentions in the title. Not everyone will get it but some will.

I'm still regretting taking up the T-Mobile "free for 1 year" contract that was on here a few months back. I got a letter the other day telling me the price was going up to 10-pound-something per month.

For retention deals is it best to wait till your contract is actually over or ring in the last month upgrade period?
