Tried to leave my abusive relationship with t-mobile today. Called up but the retention department offered me this "loyalty" deal to stay. I was on £10/month rolling for 500mbs 250mins 500 texts so needless to say I've been suckered back in. We're no good together, but they still make me feel so damn good sometimes.
Presumably it's open to anyone who threatens to break up with them? God they're so needy, I've only been with them 5 months.
sim only, 3g

3 amazing years with t-mobile, one year with the now EE, and i will NOT be renewing, no matter how much they try to keep me.

Other providers will offer similar and speak english, be polite, get your bills right, and god forbid if something were to go wrong, they'd actually be willing to help sort it out and actually fix it...

Heat for the amusing post.....

I'm with the same needy telecoms girlfriend (actually paying £11 SIM only for 300mins/5billion texts/250MB) - the only reason I haven't updated is that it includes 08 and voicemail, oh and another free 250mb data when I occasionally go over.

Does your new retention deal include 08 numbers?

Please tell me who?

I wanted to leave after they wrongly billed me over £4000
I now have the same deal as OP but I only pay £7 per month and that includes 08 calls.
I now have a call recorder as we all know they lie and back track on deals that they offer.
But for me they are all like it O2, 3, Voda and so on

thanks, but for every one bad mark they get, EE get a thousand :D

As with most of these things, once theyve burned the bridges, you never look back, im not saying everywhere else is better, im just saying i know i wouldnt use EE ever again because of my experience with them, which is a shame, as i had 3 years of faultless loyalty with tmobile and reccomended them to many of my friends at the time.

To be honest i do think EE is the worst followed by Vodafone I'm with 3 which is no better
I have also got a sim only deal with T-Mobile LOL :) i have a 12mth Sim only contract for free tell a lie 22p T-Mobile have just increased it
Quite a lot of people got it last year by mistake on t-mobile website and TM honoured it so Free for 12months 22p.

:) it's always nice to hear someone has experienced nearly as much pain as I have had but with EE broadband! Had mobile with t mobile for years and just got this deal as just as much hassle to switch plus it's only 30 day rolling so no real commitment

Too true ! Although id still say t mobile was far from perfect I don't know why they didn't iron out the takeover before paying Kevin bacon millions and rebranding the name

Tesco Mobile signal is quite weak in between Sutton and Wimbledon, no matter what Tesco Mobile tell you.

This thread is 2 weeks old no, but for what its worth, I've been with T-Mobile 15 years, and get better service than the rest of my family, on assorted Giff-gaff, Vodafone, o2, Tesco....
I always have signal when they don't. Sitting in the waiting room at Hammersmith hospital showed me how grateful I was for their service!
