T-mobile Sim-only retention 600min/500mb/5000sms £5.00/mth or £60/yr
For existing T-mobile customers
Ring up, do not negotiate, request a PAC code
Within the next couple of days either they will ring you (like me) or you can ring up and get this retention deal for
£5/month 600min x-network, 500min t-mobile, 500mb internet, 5000 texts
Possibly other deals available, but hands down the representative said we only offer really good deals after you request a PAC code
(I requested one, seeing mkara's deal http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/t-mobile-full-monty-unltd-calls-texts-data-12-months-sim-only-everything-need-from-1272252 It seems over 12months a lot cheaper to buy a phone and get a sim-only deal)
This is a 12 month contract extension
edit-updated minutes to 600 cross-network which inc. 08-numbers

Giffgaff - £120 for the year
I'll go with the T-mobile cheers, on my existing contract I don't go over 500mb or 500 texts a month so ideal

I am currently coming to the end of the t-mobile 100 mins, 100 texts, unlimited internet deal which I have for £5 as a retentions deal so getting an upgrade like this sounds like a good idea, I will call when my deal comes to an end. It is always useful to know what deals others have got out of retentions recently so you know what to pitch for.
That's more than enough, for lots of people.
Paying twice as much money so you can have some extra data that you'll never use isn't a better deal, oskarito.
(If you need more data than this deal gives you then the GiffGaff deal maybe* is better.)
Voted hot. :D
Will try it on in a few months when the kids' 12m deals run out (they're on the £0.00pm deal posted around October last year, and I've been dreading the end of that!).
*Incidentally, my two t-mobile pay monthly sim only contracts both appear to give unlimited internet. Not sure what that's about - it wasn't part of the deal. You may find you actually have unlimited on this package.
What u talkin about pal ?
I'm talking about it being double the price. What you talking about?
EDIT : Actually I'm not sure what I am going to get - it's at least 300 minutes, 250 T Mobile minutes, 5000 texts, unlimited landline, unlimited browsing, inclusive voicemail, inclusive 0870 0845 numbers. Seemed good for £5 though.

Agreed! I just moved my son off Giff Gaff as he was never able to phone me due to having no signal (or network issues) on his phone. Moved him to Tmobile now, no problems whatsoever! I have been with Tmobile since 1999 on contract and never had an issue.
How long did you wait after getting your PAC code? It was about a week before they rang me
