Is it any 10 inch version?

I have a Novo 7 advanced with identical specs. Great piece of kit, votes hot ;-)

Quite a few reports of the Paladin version having problems running a lot of Android apps that were not specifically compiled for its processor type. That may be one reason its price fell quickly after launch? Research before buying.

Can anyone recommend a 10" version around the same(ish) price. The kids have hijacked my iPad ever since I got it and an Android Tab would be fine for me.

All these 7" Android tablet deals are great, and I'd happily spend £100-200 on one, but I'd want a 10" screen as I'd be mainly using it as a monitor for my video cameras.

1.2ghz.......1.5ghz......a little confusing in the spec sheet...but great price...

Father: Err... It's actually a Tabatronic M Zero Zero Nine S.
Child: Oh. :o(

The Ainol Novo 7 Aurora should be available from UK suppliers next month (allegedly!). Similar spec. but with 1Gb RAM, 8Gb NAND memory and 1024 x 600 IPS screen. Plus Android ICS. Gadget Freakz claim to have a batch on their way to the UK.. Special price of £130.

Ditto would really like to know what budget solutions are in place for a 10" tablet with a sim slot for 3G. (Dongle not an option)
#16
Good processor. It won't be 1.5ghz though, all the A10 tablets are advertised as that, but they're all 1ghz (some can overlock a bit, max 1.2ghz).
#17
I can't vouch for it, but i have just purchased a Disgo 8100 (10.1" capacitive screen, Android Gingerbread OS etc) from Play.com. My only real concern before receiving the product is that it does not support the Android Market. It is also not quite as impressive as the tablet (specs wise) in question.

That was a terrible purchase. Has a quite unsupported cpu, so you won't be able to play most android apps.

I'll be glad when these budget tablets start being released with Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0) rather than Gingerbread. I tried Gingerbread on my HP Touchpad, and it really shows that it's an OS that's not designed for tablets! ICS has a much better interface.
#20
I can vouch for this seller, have bought 2 in the past. Excellent customer service.
#21
Why is it you can get Android phones and Tablets for this price but no bloody car headunits? I'm sick of stuff on my dash or windscreen. Oh well this will have to do.
#22
You can get the ainol elf for £119.99 delivered from gadgetfreakz ( next day delivery )
This has better screen ( 1024 * 600 ) ' better battery ( 3700 mah) and has android 4 ics as the operating system. This is a much better buy if you can afford it.

All these A10 tablets run at 1 ghz , and are fast coupled with mali400 graphics. The ainol tablets seem to get better support than many of the other brands .
Don't buy the paladin though as its processor is not compatible with most apps.
#23
Terrible resolution, same amount of pixels as your average phone is pretty bad tbh,
#24
same graphics chip as the Samsung Galaxy S2 so should be good cus I can run everything on my SG2

I can recommend you check out the ONDA VI40 elite, I did and decided to go for one, its not arrived yet so I won't go as far as saying the best ever but it is seen as an ipad 2 alternative which beats the ipad in a number of areas like usb HDMI outputs, expandable memory to 32gb comes with 16, Full HD, better cameras. it equals the ipad 2 with an IPS screen giving excellent viewing angles and processing power and memory. I understand that its firmware holds the processor at 1.0ghz but the chip can go to 1.5ghz when new firmware is written, and it has Android 4.03 op/sys.

I ordered mine from:
http://www.wanden.co.uk/special-offer---onda-vi40-elite-97inch-android-4-ics-tablet-pc---1gb-ram-16gb-ips-screen-dual-cam-92-p.asp
I prefer the uk supplier rather than importing from a dropship site

Hello,
in the past we have had some problems with PayPal, for some reason they cannot offer us an acceptable fee plan as that we have with other payment gateways.
Due our policy, at this moment we don't accept PayPal direct payments, but we're working with SAGEPAY that soon allow customers to pay with PayPal founds.
I think that you can trust Google Checkout wallet, that it's a processor made by Google Inc.

Feel free to contact us for any other question.
Best Regards

Hi All!
This is David from uniprice.co website!
I have been informed by one of you about this thread, and I would like to clarify a few aspects:
St. John Street in London, there are only administrative offices at the same address of "companies made simple". I say that this is not our store / warehouse, but only where we have the head office.
I can understand your concerns, basically our website is new and you do not know us yet ...

Our company does not accept PayPal, as we have responded by email, for some problems we had in the past with them. As traders, we do not agree with their policies and we are free to choose who to manage our money, it seems more legitimate and clear.
There are hundreds of threads that do not speak well of PayPal, and for this reason that we decided to work with other payment gateways.
Google Checkout is a payment method at the level of PayPal provides many safeguards and security. You can be sure just by reading the name "Google"!
And also Moneybookers is no of less.

If you do not feel safe on our site, we can understand. Just wait a while, some customers will write our own review, increase our sales, and will be more people who know us, and then you can trust us.

If you have other requests, please write directly to our customer service on our website.
Thank you !

Isn't any (Archos G9 with the dongle that goes into it is the only remotely cheap option)

Other than that min £300. (Even the Huawei and ZTE ones (ZTE Smart tab (V11?) / Huawei Mediapad) you cannot get cheap or off contract).

There is a few others but the specs suck (And you pay for the fact that they are not easy to find).
huawei s7 slim / ZTE V9+ (Capacitive) they suck though compared to the NOVO 7 Aurora.

Might be worth getting a contract (With a high initial cost to pay for the device). Most networks state that you have to be on mobile broadband for 3G tablets which is £10 a month min or whatever.

800 x 480 (16:10) is actually a better bet for watching video than any of those 16:9 (1024 x 600) screens.
With ICS there is no way to remove the status bar so any 16:9 video is going to get scaled or cropped.
If you've got honeycomb on your tablet with a 16:9 screen you can at least use something like honeybar to hide the status bar.
