Similar to the nest, and other smart thermostats out there, but it has geolocation - so it turns the heating off when you go out - and turns it back on when it senses you coming home. Also has the usual links to local weather etc.

Usual price is £199

Can this control water and heating separately for who don't have a combi

had one last year, whilst it was good it didnt stay connected sometimes and left on the water all the time. i can honestly say it saved me no money at all but it looked lovely in the house!

I have a two zone combi system with 2 diverter valves.

I have just installed a Salus it500 plus additional it300 sensor.

So far working like a treat. Controls both zones temperatures (downstairs and upstairs) at the same.

Controls also work on smartphones via salus app

Hmmmm. Want one but concern about the above comment. Wonder if good old manual control is better

I have one. It does control the hot water.
The jury is still out on it for me but works fine so far.

I should add Tado gives you the option to rent this a year at a time, which I'm doing you could look into that.

Are you sure this does hot water as well, it's advertised as a thermostat and I can't see any mention of it on the site. It's also a bit more complicated install if it does heating and hot water.

It's a decent price (cheaper than their own site) but I'd expect controllers to be half this price in 2-3 years.

Cheaper in 2-3 years like most technology....

for hot water control you need an extension kit with this new version of tado, I have it installed. the extension kit is about £70-£80 on top of the thermostat.

Went to commit this morning and it's up to £199.99 now! Tried calling but Curry's wouldn't honour the price.
