Erm! Isn't that a different watch?!?!

+1
hate it when people post a different product... look at the model numbers.. they are different
#11
Dont even need to look at the model numbers, even a blind man can tell they are different.
#12
Bought an £800 Aquaracer from Goldsmiths via Top Cashback and they paid no problem. Good amount too.

I have about £200 worth of vouchers. If I could use them I would buy it soon as.
#22
Using Tesco Vouchers I've paid a tiny fraction for 1xSeiko Kinetic and 3x Citizen EcoDrive watches from Goldsmith, great service, nice stores.

I'm pretty sure if you buy online you can still get an instore fitting.
#23

Thats not the same watch!
#24
I got an aquaracer from goldsmiths a couple of years ago, they knocked off 10% in the shop for cash, gorgeous watch, worn it nearly every day and still like new.
#25

now that looks more like it. and even if you dont QUIDCO it will still be a little cheaper :-)
#26
Quidco works fine with Goldsmiths, I bought an Oris watch last year for £900 and got £200 quidco back, after about 5-6 months. Made it a superb deal.
#27
how do the clubcard vouchers work? My dad has had a clubcard for years how could I find out how many points etc hes got on it if I wanted to make a purchase and get discounts?
#28
Great watch.. but crazy price too.. I wish I could afford such expensive watches !!
#29
how can you vote hot?! you can get watches for like a tenth that price!?

If your dad has registered his clubcard he should be getting vouchers in a small booklet every few months. These vouchers can then be used to get money off shopping in Tesco or you can exchange the vouchers for up to 4 times the face value at certain stores such as Goldsmiths.
This is how I got my two Omega Seamasters:-D

because you vote on the price of the item in relation to whether you can get it cheaper elsewhere.

This watch cant be found cheaper elsewhere. Just because people think its expensive for a watch and would rather a £10 casio then thats all well and good, but to vote it cold just because you cant afford it defeats the whole point of the hot/cold system.

This is a great watch at a very good price.

I have the black / red combination of this watch which I paid £1950 for about 5 months ago

yeh I think he gets vouchers for money off shopping...hmmm I will have to have a look, only thing is I would ideally like to go for a seamaster but they are retailing at 2K, whereas other sites have them at 1700ish so would have to see how many vouchers he's got and if I could nab some to buy one haha, if not i'll have to stick to my replicas for the time being :)

i agree with buying a decent watch but not for the time being accurate ;-) thats surely the least requirement even for a £20 watch after 10 years and i bet most of them still would !!
#35
Try this on before buying.

I always wanted one of these, but when trying it on, it looked crap. Ended up with the aquaracer :)

My Kirium is ten years old too

Haven't worn it in a while as I need the battery professionally replaced. It was a very generous (and unexpected) 18th birthday present, certainly couldn't have purchased it myself. The trip to New York to buy it was rather amazing too... Happy memories.

The Kiriums are beautiful watches. Take it to any reputable jewelers and they will send it back to Switzerland (I think that's were they tell you, my mates dad who fixes them say they go to Farnworth!!) because they need to repressurize them to make the water tight...Utter cods wallop but they are great watches.

I like the way when they start running out of batteries the second hand stops and moves only every 5 seconds to conserve power! lol!

doubt you need to get it professionally done by Tag just for a battery change, I could understand if you wanted an automatic ETA movement serviced.

I know where I live there is a little jewelery/watch booth where they always do battery changes on cheaper watches.

Im sure if you've got one near you or even a Timpsons, and if you explain the situation to them they will be able to say, yep we can do it or no we cant.

I cant see it being a big issue only the gasket may need to be sealed again but these guys should be able to do that pretty easily and for a snip of the cost that Tag will charge.

@ei8hty5ive any small Jewelery shop should be able to pressure test also once they have completed the job, absolute BS that the watches need to be sent to Switzerland lol
