One of the highest quality disks on the market for sale at £10 per tub less than SVP. Google Checkout is an option, but does not seem to attract a discount.

They are £14.98 per pack at SVP?

Order 2 packs and 50 more DVDs for £29.43 delivered after GC. Or add the amplified disc case to 2 packs and get for £25.94 delivered. That works out at £12.97 per 100 delivered and it is the same dye, TYG-02.

UKDVDR have a pretty bad reputation, according to this site. I am in the US right now and got the exact premium line 8x blanks shipped to me for $32 from Meritline (US shipping is free).

MeritLine have implemented Google check-out, so I was able to give a UK billing address and a US shipping address. You should be able to get shipments to the UK as well, but I guess shipping will be very expensive.

I will never buy from UKDVDR again after being sold fake disks from them in the past.

They stated a specific dye in their advert and then the disks turned up with a completely different dye identifier code. The dye code on the disk was a dye not ever used on that brand of disks, therefore, an obvious fake.

I had to write five emails before getting a returns code with them continually stating that they hadn't received previous emails and that the emails they did get were blank!

They weren't going to refund my postage costs to return the batch so it was uneconomical for me to return them.

So I used the batch of disks for temp files and mediocre tv shows transfer.

For every ten disks burned only 3 would burn without error.

I always advise people against shopping at DVDR.co.uk.

SVP all the way for me and my friends; they deliver on time and the dyes they quote on their disks are real.

there datasafe thou.

does it really make a difference though, they use the same dye.
surely thats what matters?

Nah, you can get huge difference in manufacturing quality. Check your scans and it can be obvious.

Having said that, some cheap discs can be astoundingly good - eg the Rivision 8speed MCC 003 at SVP, 11p/disc, just scanned for total 110 PI errors, the best I've ever had.

Buy cheap, buy twice! I have learned this with these discs, since I have thrown away ruined discs . I'd avoid this.
