New Album from Take That .....
This is the first time Take That have written and recorded as a three and with that new dynamic has come a new sound; this time around choosing an eclectic mix of producers to work on the album:Greg Kurstin (Lana Del Rey - Ultraviolence, Lykke Li - I Never Learn, Katy Perry - Prism), John Shanks (Take That- Beautiful World, The Circus), Stuart Price (Take That - Progress, Madonna - Confessions on a Dance Floor, The Killers - Day & Age) and Jeff Lynne(ELO, Paul McCartney - Flaming Pie, Regina Spektor - Far, Tom Petty - Into The Great Wide Open, Travelling Wilburys - Travelling Wilburys Vol.1).

The guys started writing tracks for this album at the beginning of the year with the blessing of Jason Orange who announced in a statement on Wednesday September 24th that after almost twenty-five years he was leaving the band. He went on to say that they had his 'full support and encouragement to continue on with what is to be another chapter for the band'. 'III' is scheduled to be completed at the end of next week, with the majority of the recording being done at the band’s own studios and Abbey Road Studios.

The last time Take That released an album was in 2010, when they were a five piece: Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange, Mark Owen and Robbie Williams. Their album Progress became the fastest selling album of the century and the second fastest selling album of all time - shifting more than 235,000 copies in just one day. They also sold out eight Wembley Stadiums in 2011 on The Progress Tour (the most ever played in a row since it was built and re-built) and played to almost two and a half million people that year.

Don't forget these:

Seems to be a widely-held belief, has popped up on other threads recently. Not true, as others have been saying. The simplest way to listen to music in Google Play might be via your (Chrome) web browser but the Google Music Manager software can download bought music (main purpose is to upload your local files so all your library is available to you online), or you can just select the album in your Play library and download it which is about as easy as it can be. Files are ordinary mp3s so if you'd prefer them in iTunes just import them like you would from any other non-iTunes-store source.

You can simply use the google play app to play it on your iPhone too. Without all the messing of adding it to iTunes.

If he didn't know what he was talking about then he was clearly mistaken. Not everyone may know that you can transfer google purchases into itunes. Don't think his comment had any malicious intent to it (unlike yours) and had already been addressed with an appropriate response (twice) before yours.

Let me talk sense....if you class MP3s as a bargain (compressed crap..if you are buying digital at least get FLAC and if possible 24 Bit FLAC) then you want your own head checking out.

Further to that, if you are into boy bands you want your own head looking anyway unless you are a 14 year old girl. And none of the excuses of Take That being a 'grown' up band now either...they are clearly a record companies wet dream, bland adult oriented pop rock based at the lowest denominator, file alongside Coldplay on your record shelf (oh wait, you cannot, it's compressed digital)

Music deals are becoming as bad as Xbox/ Playstation deals lately with all of the comments. Instead of saying what people should and shouldn't listen to, why not try and be a little less narrow-minded? Can you imagine how boring the world would be if everyone listened to the same music?

Not my sort of music, but voted hot because it's a very good price for a fairly new album.

Although my statement beliefs hold true to my own personal viewpoint on Take That (as well as the purchase of a lossy musical format), I retorted with that (I would not normally bother posting in deals such as this that I have no interest in) for brookysm to peruse to try and make them understand that aggressive behaviour towards others can be applied also to their own viewpoint...to put them at the receiving end to see how they like it.

Why would anyone want to use iTunes these days anyway. Chokes the life out of computers. Also almost like a virus as getting rid of it is insanely difficult.

Never really understood totally negative comments in threads...
If you have no interest in Google Music's chosen delivery format or the artist in question then why not just move along to a thread that is relevant to you.....

At the end of the day this is the latest just released album from a very popular artist (even if you don't like them the fact is a lot of people do) it's also being offered in a format than millions of people find convenient to use.
The other factor that needs to be considered is that many many people never upgrade headphones and simply use the ones that are supplied with their chosen playback device...most of these would never be able to determine the difference between compressed or uncompressed audio let alone what bitrate the music is ripped at.

Don't like Take That so won't be buying but adding Heat to a cracking deal...

Hey Andrew Braybrook, before getting your knickers in a twist read post #34 and then look historically in this thread before jumping to conclusions...as said although my own personal opinions stand I would have kept zipped normally.

ps....Uridium is far from your best title.

Also, making a dig at itunes being a 'weird fetish' is hardly keeping zipped yourself..double standards?
