fantastic idea - but none near me :-(

Isnt that the same price as eating in though?

Not sure what the deal is here? A free paper bag? Its like going out for a meal but eating at home for the same price.

Why should the time of day affect a takeaway either? Not like your taking up a table at peak time

Indeed it is, and if you eat in you can normally order a dessert for a £1 to follow.

I don't really see the point of this. By the time you get your roast dinner home it'll be cold and all mashed up together. Why not just eat in the pub?

This would be a great idea if the Crown Carvery did it, the meals are much cheaper and would make a good alternative to meals on wheels etc.

No different to the McDonalds, Burger King & KFC concept, just no drive through.....yet.

Someone high up at Toby got paid for initiating this ?

Why ?

No McDonalds is designed to be taken away and each part is in its own packaging, they don't slap your complete meal in a tub and slop some gravy on it for good measure. Same with KFC and Burger King.

Wouldn't exactly say it is the same as Mcdonalds, for starters in TC you get your meal on a place with a knife and fork and a waitress brings you a drink in a glass.

Any restaurant that does takeaways generally offers a decent discount if you don't sit down

Anyone had one of these? The only advantage I can see is that two people could eat it if you got a lot of extras

Why not in Bristol?
