Fast-paced, violent revenge thriller written and produced by Luc Besson ('Leon', 'Nikita', 'Taxi'). Liam Neeson stars as Bryan, a former CIA secret agent living in the US who is obliged to resurrect the skills he learned in his old job after his estranged 17-year-old daughter Kim (Maggie Grace) is kidnapped by sex slave traffickers while travelling with a friend in Europe.

good film.

Bryan: I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.
Marko: [after a long pause] Good luck.

"good luck" X):p
good movie, but, why people say it's not? beyond the acting and the cinema, lies a real problem of women trafficking and the dilemma of letting our children travel alone especially into a foreign country.
This movie is a reminder that life is so precious that we should behave responsibly and don't underestimate the danger around us; that's not to say we shouldn't travel or enjoy life, but we should take caution .... anyway "good luck" ha ha ha say it again "good luck" you son of ***** this remind me "do you feel lucky punk, do ya" awesome

This is a fantastic movie! Even better are the extras showing how it was made; what mugs we are when we believe what we see!

Extra poignant as it was released just about when his wife died.

IMO the film was boring, predictable and uninteresting. I totally understand there are real problems like this... but it's not like any of us could go and track down traffickers then take them out in quite such an over ambitious way as Neeson - and I'm not entirely sure what type of "caution" you think people should take - fact is there's more chance of being killed by a pair of trousers then you or anyone you know know getting caught up in something like this.

....Oh and the acting is lame :p

...meant to add, if you do watch this film, one thing it is almost worth watching it for is Maggie Grace's run... happens a few times and is just plain bizarre :D

Yeh it's hilarious!! :D It looked to me as if she was trying to act/run like a small child, or what she imagined a small child to run like... :p
