One of my favourite bands. The Colour of Spring and Spirit of Eden are particularly great albums.
This includes a fair mix of Talk Talk but the later stuff is superior as far as I'm concerned.
Worth buying this for 'John Cope' which is a brilliant song.

Totally agree; the later stuff is simply some of the most beautiful and quality music ever recorded

Can only reiterate what you guys say, amazingly transformed band from new romantics living in the shadow of Duran Duran into probably the most amazing post rock band of the late 80s/early 90s

I will be buying this at this fantastic price to add to my collection (proud owner of the wonderful After The flood boxset from the Laughing Stock album era)

The Spirit Of Eden album particularly a favourite by many a fan and critics alike.

Bet that's worth a fair bit now Cico. My mate at Uni had it and I was quite jealous back then.

Interesting thing was mate, I got it on clearance like a year after it was released in the then Our Price records, was a quid for the Big Box containing After The Flood...then amazingly they had the other two parts in cases amongst the sale rack also a quid each if i remember right, so got the complete set for 3 quid!

Aw what? That is so good. I bet you couldn't believe it when they fell into your hands. £3?? That's just silly? Really couldn't guess what that'd be worth now at a record fayre.

Didnt really have any idea at the time either really (or now) how much money it was worth, back in like 1992 as a college student I had little money as it was, liked Colour Of Spring and Spirit Of Eden and just took a gamble on it all!

Now I am frantically wondering though where the hell it is, I know its in the house somewhere, but it has got me wanting to get my hands on it!

Agree with posts here.
The later stuff was brilliant once they moved from the new romantic era.Hit a peak with colour of spring, but later works breathtaking just too left field to reach a large audience.
Saw them in action at Norwich UEA 1987.Mark Hollis a bit drunk that night but one of the best concerts I've seen.
Been a fan since picking up a copy of Mirror man marked down to 10p in Bonds of Norwich clearance.Still have it with sticker attached!
