Talk Talk are still one of the most complained about Telecom companies.

Following my own experiences with them I would NEVER consider then for ANY services
#5
My tcb from last month's deal moved from pending to confirmed and then two days late went back to pending. Bit worrying.

I have these sims for my kids phones, great value plans. Customer service much improved too, they're making a real effort.

Gave it heat as it's a pretty good deal. However, given that last month there was £30 cashback for similar, I'd rather wait until that pops back.

Give a member a break guys, they're only trying to post a deal that might interest others, might not, but no need to put them off posting deals, is there?

Op says this has £30 quidco but it is now £1.25 more than last month (last month it was £1.25 a month after cashback ie it was half the price it is now).

Talk Talk = ONE OF THE MOST COMPLAINED ABOUT COMPANIES YOU COUKD DL BUSINESS WITH. Take it from me and the THREE OUT OF NINE POSTERS here...they are Shire with a Capital S .. not content with Poor Telecoms they took over Payments on my Landline Post Office and guess what?...After 5 Trouble Free Years Payments with Post Office....within 6 weeks of Talk **** Talk doing the Paymenyi I had Prob after Prob...they are Rude Ignorant and certainly Not to be Trusted!!! my experience... anyway I Won my Complaints to Ombudsman and they Paid me + Apologised....as for Post Office ..I'm now with Plus Net....
#11
they increased the price for that code
#12
can I also Add to my previous post re Talk Talk & Poor Service - I read that one of the Former Creators of Car Phone Warehouse (Talk Talk) has Not made it to the Shortlist to become Chairman of Offstead.....that's interesting is it not?

We had a similar problem when my 80 year old father moved to then for their broadband ....router arrived but when after switchover we connected it it could not detect an ADSL line......

Contacted TalkTalk & told them there was a problem with the line (not the equipment as I also tested with 2 other routers).....supposedly wanted to test the line but could only do so from that line ......arranged a time for them to phone & made the 30 mile trip to be there when they called....but no phone call......did the same again a week later...still no call ......eventually they agreed that it was a line problem so told us to contact BT....BUT we were paying them for line rental & broadband....they were not interested & their Indian call centre didn't seem to understand that once you no longer pay BT for your line that it becomes the operators responsibility...

We decided to cancel, they threatened legal action over the remaining phone/broadband contract....even though they had never managed to provide a broadband service....eventually the ombudsman sorted it & he got a full refund

Yes - it can't access all their masts, apparently. I find getting a TalkTalk 3G signal impossible in large areas of the country, including cities. It's cheap, but it's cheap for a reason - phone calls are OKish, but data's awful.

Loving all the usual 'TalkTalk customer service is the worst in the business' stuff from people who haven't used it lately. Actually, BT now comes out below TalkTalk for customer service, and all my experiences (apart from their using Vodafone as a piggy back) have been entirely positive. Which is more than I can say for BT, who I used to be with until a year ago.

I'm on Talkmobile (very confusing I know) at the mo and that is on Vodafone too. That is ok. Do you think it would be similar to that?

I'm guessing, obviously, but if you're happy with the coverage on Talkmobile, and that uses Voda, you'd probably be equally happy with TalkTalk. Don't believe all the scare stories people like to bandy about. Those guys are living in the past. Remember how unfashionable Aldi once was, before people cottoned on? :D

It is on Vodafone. Now I'm in 3. Do a Vodafone signal check as I had outside signal only.
In my area all networks have signal except Vodafone.

Oh well just signed up to Quidco and bought the £3.75 a month deal with £35 quidco (plus £5 sign up bonus!) that ends today. Not tracked immediately :( Fingers crossed it goes ok or I'm back to tcb as quick as a flash.

Update: tracked after a couple of hours but only £20 not £35. Hope it's uplifted with no fuss later.

Just thought I'd let you know my experience. I called Talk Talk to cancel my sim (I said it was wrong size but really it was because tcb sim only deals not tracking at all and Quidco tracked) and I got put through to loyalty team and she cancelled it no problem! Now shows as inactive so looks OK online. Telephone number I was given if cut off was 0870 0878751 then option 3, then 2, then 1.

Yea the cs are from hell. I phoned 4 times to cancel 1 sim for myself. They said they needed 30 days notice so I gave 30 days but when bill came they charged me cancellation charges so I had to argue and argue and swear and cry. That's how bad they are .
Not happened just to me but to my sister, she spent 3 hours trying to cancel. I think it would be easy to cancel online.
It's cheap at those prices but be willing to have a headache. I didn't get any cash backs back last year as it only started but now my sister in law has gone back to them and iv done it through my quid Co account

Did you try terminating a 12 month contract early then? You would expect cancellation charges in that case. I just cancelled one in the cooling off period. In fact she said if a changed my mind and kept the sim she would give me 2 months free! but when I do want one for my son I will try to get cashback when tcb has sorted out the proper link ( not working on simo deals from what I see) or do it with quidco again.

It was coming to 12 month term. Previous staff said I need to give 30 days notice but in fact at end I found out I don't have to. In fact I got shouted at from a manager! . You still need to give 30 days notice for a pac code tho.
I just wish you luck on their false information

Im confused. You don't mean you have to wait 30 days to get a PAC code do you? I presume you mean you have to pay for a month after you request a PAC code ie give notice. I've got to request one from Talk Mobile soon and never terminated a pay monthly contract before.

According to them you need to give 30 days notice and you have 30 days to transfer the number. So say 10 your contact ends give the number on 10th to your new provider.
